Then, we'd waive Iggy and he could potentially return to Miami...
i'd rather keep iggy for our playoff run.

If their fans are any indication, they seem very open to dealing all their young guys for KL and Norm to be a favorite in the east

Tbh...I think he might even be worse with is and our switch-heavy approach. But I'm curious if there's any rationale in how his defensive value may vary depending on schemes.

Do we think Herro could be a Devin Booker in the making?
I do like the A/T of 1.375 as a rookie and 1.48. I could see him get to 2 as a SG.
Booker has not shot from 3 better than Herros' rookie % and shot 32.6% in his 4th year which is like the 32.9% thus far for Herro this season.
I could see Herro get up to 19-20 ppg next season.

Butler isn't getting any younger and they made the finals last year. Kyle could be the piece that pushes them over the top.
No better time than now. Even for Pat Riley.

And worsen our pick? Why would we want to do that?

We definitely wouldn't waive Iggy, don't think he can sign back with Miami anyways if that happened.
If we get Iggy, we would likely flip him for more assets. He's still a good playoff wing stopper that contenders would want. Utah, Denver, etc. can use someone like him if going against the LA teams.

OG, FVV, and Siakam aren’t going anywhere. NBA rotation players actually make a lot of sense unless you want to treadmill while waiting on those rookies to develop.
Those guys are nothing special. Picks are more valuable than just drafting rookies, we can use them to upgrade from one of FVV/OG/PS to a disgruntled star.
