What trade? Did I miss something?

Nothing right now but Trez is the one with the highest value i think right now. What do you think about Trezz btw?

I like him but he's not untouchable. He's had about 5 head scratcher games where I was like, what the heck are you doing. He's also had some awesome games. I'd trade him for the right piece

Your fans will riot but your FO is pretty smart for this. The guy puts up a lot of efficient scoring nights but his approach on the defensive end makes it empty calories. That's without factoring the difficulty of building a functional frontcourt with a 4 that can't space the floor. Puts unnecessary pressure on management to find a 5 that can

I dont think we'd riot if we could get something of value for him that suits the teams needs. We need a C and a sharpshooter. I like Trezz a lot but i've been on aboard him getting traded ever since we got him. I think he'll get exploited against certain matchups. And with Gasol looking ancient we're in a bad spot.

Things to consider a 3 point shooter and rim protector when trading Montrel. Hes our best trade asset. See if anything come of it

It's a $13 million expiring. How is that too big to move?

Evan Fournier is probably one of my least favorite players in the league. His effort on defense frustrates me even though I am not even a Magic fan.

I think Dinwiddie would be a perfect fit coming back for the Raptors. He could start in the backcourt with Vanvleet or come off the bench.

None of that addresses my also very valid concerns about trading for a soon to be 35 year old PG and how that has almost always gone for non top of their generation players. Along with him being apart of a team putting up those numbers on a team falling off a cliff...

Believe it or not you can believe a player succeed and me one fail and both of reasons for it be rooted in logical reasons and based on facts.

Sure it does. You said a team would be desperate to add him. How is it desperate to add a near-all star player THIS year to win a title?

How is it desperate to add a 35 year PG? How is that short sighted? How is it questionable how good he'll be in a new system?

Just stop.

Lowry added to the heat or Philly would be a great get for either team. For Philly he’d help in the post season in the half court and with Miami he’d fit right in and be another big shot taker and maker.

He’s a great veteran leader and still can play at a high level. If your saying giving him a long term deal that’s another issue but right now? He’d be a great add for either team

I’m sure marks probably asked for Normal Powel but will be happy with Boucher

I have my doubts if Heat have interest enough to give up any real assets at this point. They will have plenty of capspace this summer to sign a guard (Oladipo or Dinwiddie type).

I could see a Avery Bradley and Harkless for Dinwiddie if they miss out on Lowry

Drummond is not a tone setter. Sorry, that just isn't his personality. Other players have to set the tone for him.

I didn't fully understand the Harrell move for the Lakers when it was made, considering the roster limitations with the hard cap. James/Davis are at their best when they are playing with 3 floor spacers. Harrell doesn't space the floor or protect the rim. He's a luxury on a team that needed more shooting and now needs more rim protection.

Philly should be able to get this deal if they want it. They have more assets. No way that Miami gives up Herro for a potential 2 months rental.

No way the Celtics give up Smart.

Is Evan Fournier going to become the next player that the Ainge almost traded for? Might be a good fit, although they still need a center, "cough" Myles Turner "cough"

Still a solid add to a contending team. Just as long as you aren't giving anything valuable. Raps might as well do it. He's not resigning to end his career there so they'll likely lose him for nothing. Would have loved him on the Lakers had the Lebron injury not happened.

Aren't the Wolves literally a bottom 3 team? If so, you would understand why they wouldn't trade a top 5 pick fo John.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

As always there's a cost benefit analysis and a lot of other players that would be great additions for those teams.

But yes if it was for free then sure. But it's not really saying much to say he'd be a great addition because he's not coming for free. If they Raps want to do him a favor though they could take a meaningless asset like a late first.
