Is that a same guy who ferociously defend Wendell Carter Jr on twitter? I'm a big Duke fan so I've been defending Wendell as well ever since he's been wearing Bulls uniform but making excuses for Wendell this year is just nonsense.

If I remember correctly he always makes up some ridiculous excuses for Wendell on twitter even when Wendell himself keeps making terrible plays. I don't trust that guy's evaluation on players.

Divy our young waist of players in Laurrie, Wendell, and Coby and some conditional 1s and 2s. I'm done with all 3 of them.

Excluding rookie deals. I find it very hard to believe you could name 52 better players making under 20 million.

Why should I find 52 better players and why should I exclude players on rookie deals?

Teams can use their cap space to absorb bad contract while getting future draft picks. I'd rather use cap space in that way than pay Lonzo $20M per year just to make the playoffs and get swept by the 1st/2nd seed team.

You said there were tons of better players getting 20 million dollars. That's simply not true unless you're looking at rookie scale guys. And those that are at that rate are expiring soon like Zach.

With these short contracts, those deals are few and far between. So if you could get a plus starter at a position of need, it's a good investment. No one is giving you a lotto pick to take on a deal.

The NBA is looking for a new tv contract that will more than triple their tv revenue. Salary cap is going to skyrocket. In a couple of years, $20 M will be close to MLE money. This is the time to find the guys you want and don’t worry about the cost.

I think AK thinks Lonzo will...
- Stabilize the PG spot thereby taking turnovers away from Zach and Coby
- His D will help us a lot on PnR defense. I think Coby may be the worst PNR defender in the league
- Get PaW and Lauri more shots

I sure hope he’s right.

Don’t know how AK can standstill at the deadline and think this roster will make the playoffs. If he doesn’t sell and we miss the playoffs there will be lots of chirping.

He has to buy or sell. Can’t sit still.

I would rather have Sato for 10 mil then Ball for 20 mil. Dont think Ball's production is twice as better then Sato's. It is about value of contract.

Ball is one way, little defender and catch and shoot guy, same as Gordon except little playmaking for forward position. Neither breaks down defences and are go to scorers. Two way guys are guys like OG Anunoby, Norm Powell, Jeremi Grant, Oladipo, Garry Trent, Jeremi Lamb (when healthy), Evan Fournier, Will Barton.

Zion, Ingram & a HEALTHY Lauri Markkanen would be a pretty damn good young core to build with. Lauri as your third option is already a great thing but SVG as the coach is my only issue with it. He'd probably try to have him play a Rashard Lewis type role.

We probably have the best overall trade chip in Lauri

I do see the N.O. going after Cam just to keep Zion happy though. Don't discount that.
