I'm starting to think that the reason Clippers preferred Williams over Kennard was because of being a past Sixth Man award winner. They were too attached to the proven veteran over the young prospect. Like Doc Rivers, they're afraid that playing rookies is associated with being a lottery team. That mindset of youth versus experience must change.
