Re: Free Agency, Rumors, Thoughts in General 2.0
It seems that if a team takes Bledsoe, New Orleans throws Ball in for free.
Since New Orleans seems to have shopped Bledsoe earlier this season, they should know what the market is for him. The market for Bledsoe must be quite soft if they would rather market a Bledsoe - Ball bundle than trade them separately and apply the compensation from Ball to dumping Bledsoe to a third team.

Giving Chuck grief means never having to say you are sorry....
Because no matter how many times I'm shown to have been right they never ever do. Even today with the captain of Team Bagley acknowledging he has no value he still tried to put it on me instead of simply saying, you know Chuck, you mighta been on to something and not just biased as I insisted.
So no I don't expect this year's crow thread to have one poster in particular owning up to his Bledsoe take either.

Having suffered through his play this season, I find it highly unlikely.
Maybe he is just dogging it because he doesn't want to be in NOLA, but you have no idea just how abysmal he has been. Just freaking awful, he makes my eyes bleed.
Does anyone else remember when Chuck got like 4 pages of grief that Bledsoe was as good as Jrue? Poor Chuck.
Edit: To be clear, I am absolutely not saying it was from you. Just read this and start laughing remembering.
Bucks haven't exactly impressed more than the past few seasons yet.
Bledsoe has looked like dump in New Orleans.
I bought a boat.

If this is true then its time for Dallas to jump in, take Ball, send Bledsoe to OKC for Horford and call it a deadline.

Great, now you are going to get 4 pages telling you Horford is worth a 1st now.

I don't know what it is exactly, but New Orleans marketing Bledsoe and Ball together seems unusual when the norm is to unbundle to maximiaze value for the positive part of the trade.

Seems like the team best positioned for that would be the New York Knicks.
No, it would be the Celtics since they have a record breaking $28.5 mil TPE.

Not to mentions its only 25,000 shy of 28 million in some form of contracts that have to came back. Neutral value is a tough contract to find that most GMs can agree on.

I cannot say anything bad about Chuck. The season Dallas was so bad (2014-15, right?) Miami lost Bosh, and I remember he was willing to trade Dirk just to get him out of Dallas. Capital to think of the player's happiness first.
Spoiler:

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

It might be worth a late first. Lonzo Ball would be a RFA. He won't likely be maxed and probably be good value. Good player.

You have several chances on me eating crow on the Collins front. If not traded, Hawks pay the man. If traded, I think he brings a great return. Bad return example would be just about any package Dallas could send minus Luka or KP. No to Green and a future first as a example.
I eat crow if I am wrong. Just throw a dry rub and some Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on it. I am use to it

This seems pretty heavy a return for Lowry here to an outsider. 2019 FRP(Thybulle), two 2020 FRP's(Green and Maxey), 2021 FRP, 3 decent second rounders and an expiring Johnson contract. Also Toronto would have to open up three roster spots for such this lopsided move.

Word out of Detroit when Pistons signed Jerami Grant was he had a matching 3 yr 60M offer from Denver but wanted to be the #1 option once in his career to see about himself. So it would make sense they want to replace what he brought and they were willing to pay to keep with Gordon and especially Barnes.

Kinda love Barnes to Denver, and Gary Harris wouldn't be a bad third guard for Sac... if Hield weren't already the third guard.
