Stay away from all of them, with the possible exception of Redick. Rivers is the worst of the bunch.

Redick is a no brainer. Dieng would be 2nd. No way on Rivers. No need for the bigs unless Brook were traded

I've been petitioning for more rim protection/mobility for some time now, so I'd absolutely take one of the bigs. Dieng is one of the more underrated bigs in the NBA IMO. Can shoot, offers rim protection, moves his feet reasonably well. He's not worth what he's paid on a yearly basis, but he does things that help teams. The idea of having two Brooks with little drop off available for 48 minutes with the tools to go small if we desire excites me on the defensive end.

I have Portis concerns come playoff time.

Redick's podcast is phenomenal and I'd love the inside stuff we'd get if he was on the team, but I don't think he's a fit here at this point.

Rivers is one of the most inefficient players in the league. A 42% field goal percentage, 34% 3 point percentage and 65% free throw shooter, who can't play defense. No thanks.

And Lopez will not be traded. Did you hear Bud this morning talk about him. He considers him one of the best defenders he's ever been around.

Probably not but Redick made a comment on a podcast last year that he's heard great things about playing for Bud, in terms of how Bud runs practices and takes care of his players' bodies.

We're a completely different organisation so I doubt he'd not want to compete for a title. Wouldn't want him anyway as I don't think he's much good anymore.

It is entirely possible he completely fell off a cliff this season and is no longer good (though I'd still argue he's good enough for our bench). It's also entirely possible he'll be rejuvenated playing for a contender and get closer to his performance last season.

Which, by the way, was 15 PPG on 45% 3FG%.

If we are giving PJ Tucker the benefit of the doubt, I think we can give a top-20 all-time shooter the benefit of the doubt too.

With how PJ Tucker looks right now, he shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt. It's the middle of March and he looks like he's woefully out of shape and running and jumping in concrete.

How many old guys are we going to bring in hopes that they'll be "rejuvenated" by playing for a contender before we realize that that's not really a thing that happens like we want it to? For christ's sake, the guy is almost 37 years old. Tucker is turning 36. Pau Gasol, maybe he will be rejuvenated. Eh, nope he's old. Kyle Korver, maybe he will be rejuvenated. Eh, nope, he's old. Marvin Williams, maybe he will be rejuvenated. Eh, nope, he's old.

That's not to say I wouldn't take Redick or don't think he'd be useful, but the rosey glasses outlook like Milwaukee is somehow made of magic when older players arrive is just weird.

If a bought-out Redick prioritizes playing for a contender, where do we think he’d fit best on the court?

Bucks have big needs in the backcourt. Lot of minutes and shots available.

However off the court Milwaukee of course is a far cry from Miami, Brooklyn and LA.

To be fair, I wanted nothing to do with Tucker. My exact point is that if the Bucks can roll the dice on him, surely they can justify rolling the dice on a guy who was a significantly better player like six months ago. While giving up zero assets.

It doesn't matter, because he's not coming here anyways.
