If Orlando could flip Gordon and Fournier for Lonzo Ball and Lauri Markkanen, I would be happy. I am sure there assets need to be in that. But as a concept, it serves a number of Magic needs.

because the best offers come when the shot clock is off.

Gordon for Rubio + Nowell + McDaniels?

"It would likely take Beasley and more to get him, and that appears unlikely at the moment."
"The Wolves have been getting a lot of calls on Beasley and rookie Jaden McDaniels, sources said, but there is a reluctance to part with two promising young players with value across the league. Beasley will return to the team from a 12-game suspension on Friday, giving the Wolves a knockdown 3-point shooter that they have sorely missed. Among the reasons to move Beasley now would be if they have concerns about the off-the-court behavior that earned him the suspension. To this point, the Wolves have been in Beasley’s corner and pledged to help him through his issues."

Yeah, I mean that thread doesn't mean much to me. The trade board is primarily just homers overvaluing their own players, which is exactly what that thread looks like. I've seen our own posters go over there and do the same.
Minnesota is on the clock with Towns. I'd imagine AG would be a desirable piece to them, especially over a rookie in McDaniels who isn't going to do much as a 20-year-old project of sorts in terms of impacting the short term. I think that's why there has been a lot of reported interest from the Wolves. They have to recognize that.
