I also expect most teams to take what they feel is the best offer they are given.

A gambler huh? I'd expect most teams to not take what they feel is the best offer given.. and I feel like I'd have a 99.9% success rate on that take

I'm not sure it's that cut-and-dried. It's like having a minimum bid on eBay.

If I'm selling a good player and the best offer is two second rounders, the odds are pretty good that I take *no* offer and keep my good player.

Huh

They have cap space. About 15 million if I am not mistaken. Much easier for them to grab him in a trade. Its pretty much a given that if bought out he is headed to the Lakers or some other contender.

Is Drummond going to spend his career getting paid but never winning a playoff game?

Which pair costs more to trade for? Both are at around $40m

Lowry/Powell or Brogdon/Sabonis

Definitely Brogdon/Sabonis for me.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

 He might but I doubt it. I look for him to improve on that in the coming years. I hope so anyway.

Not particularly close. Sabonis> Lowry by more than a decent amount and the same for Brogdon over Lowry

Everyone assumes a better deal will materialize at the deadline, until it doesn't.

Even with age salary its Lowry >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Brogdon.

And if you are trading to win a title this year its lowry/powell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Brogdon/Sabonis

For a single season, you can maybe make the argument. But 1 pair is younger, under contract and cheaper. It's not particularly close, imo

Usually there’s a trade or two the day before and then deadline day the bulk of the trades happen. It’s pretty much how they always go down.

Lonzo sat out yesterday, TT is in the protocol, Gay has a sore foot, on top of Oladipo.

Simons and Little both in the protocol for Portland

I don't think this is a story. They both felt like crap after their first covid shot.

So if no trades are made tomorrow does that mean the Kings are the winners of the tread deadline?
