Then Lebron comes back and Griffin deals all those FRP's for mediocre roleplayers like JR, Shumpert, Korver and Mozgov. At least now people are seeing that he is a blowhard and has no idea how to evaluate talent or put a team together. Trading out of that 4th pick was a huge mistake. Acquiring talent like Adams and Bledsoe who obviously don't fit was another mistake and then he compounds it by giving Adams that extension. Giving a big contract to a washed up vet like Redick was another waste of money.
I wouldn't say Reddick was a mistake. Dude was great last year and after a really, really bad start, he's up to 36% from 3 this year.

You're telling this to someone who believes Chris Boucher is a better younger talent than Pascal Siakam and you expect him to process and understand logic?

Every 'contender' minus Brooklyn should be trying to do something significant, especially the Lakers who are more in "win now" mode than anyone else.

Because a better deal can open up when players shake loose from the bigger deals. Or maybe players get waived and can be picked up in FA, fulfilling the need you're trying to shore up with a trade

Fireworks are guaranteed tomorrow. Tons of names out there: Lowry, Norm, Ball, Oladipo, Gordon, Fournier, Montrez, Schroeder, the whole Pacers team, etc.

Re: Trade Deadline Countdown mega rumour thread
So players who signed as FA's this off-season are now eligible to be traded?

Ah.. no wonder they want to hurry it up. So thry can try to make more deals before the deadline. But they really have no right to hurry it up for other GMs right? It could be a tactice by those GMs to prevent more trades?

Re: Trade Deadline Countdown mega rumour thread
How dare the Raptors and Magic not be a feeder system to other teams and deliver assets when requested?!?! SACRILEGE!!!!
