Gordon to Boston doesn't really move the needle for them. But I'd be surprised if they ever actually make a trade.

Lowry to the Lakers would be annoying. But I'd rather him go there than to Philly or Miami.

I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping Lowry doesn't get dealt. In my head I don't want Lowry to go to Philly especially, but it's sort of a clunky fit with Ben?

I dunno, he hasn't hurt us yet.

Kinda feels like Lowry will be on a different team tomorrow.

I’m going Philly in that Green/Thybulle/filler/first rounder deal.

Lowry back to Philly is at least a good story.

And Lopez will not be traded. Did you hear Bud this morning talk about him. He considers him one of the best defenders he's ever been around.
Lopez is also part of the reason our guards rebound well, as well.

I like Brook. Yah, limitations on switching but he boxes out well, is huge, he can play offense and he can spread the floor.

That's the one possible saving grace with this. When you take the ball out of Simmons hands, you then have a real floor spacing problem with him playing off ball next to Embiid.

Acquiring Lowry is so risky for any team. Not because of what he can or cannot do this season, but because the real price of acquiring him looks to be a two year $50-million contract. It is impossible to project what kind of player he will be a year from now. Age can derail a player quickly. Or not.

Ellington, Nazr Reid, Muscala, Whiteside, Hernangomez, Bazemore, A.Holiday, Temple

All guys that supposedly can be had for not a lot of assets and that we could match salaries for with either Forbes or Kurucs.

Would be interested in Temple on past form, won't bother pretending i know who he currently plays for?

Ok I looked it up, I'll pretend his monstrous +/- is for reasons other than him coming in of the bench for Lavine.

Naz Reid? Hellyeah. Not a need now, but will be next year.

I'll admit to some slight anxiety over what other contenders with actual assets may pull off today.

Lowry's destined to end up in Miami unless Philly overpays for him. Riley's been in the market for a veteran PG before (Paul, Conley), and Dragic + Olynyk works perfectly as expiring salary filler.

Dragic was so good for them in the bubble. He seems to fit perfectly there. Is Lowry really a needle mover for them or did Dragic just play way over his head at the worst time for us?

No one can make a trade that makes them better than Brooklyn and no one can acquire Giannis. I feel good.

Dragic is still very good but availability is a huge problem. Misses dozens of games a year at this point... was great all playoffs and then got hurt again in game 1 of the Finals.

Riley's got to be kicking himself for letting Crowder walk.
