Harris, Hampton and a 1st for Dipo. That should put the squeeze on Riley.

I like Gordon and Ball for them - would give them a semblance of a defense.

I like Ball for us lol

Denver doesn't have that much to trade so if the same package gets me either Dipo or Gordon, I'm taking Dipo.

As for Ball, it seems that Denver would have to also be willing to eat the Bledsoe deal. I have to imagine that if they want Bledsoe gone that badly, taking on Harris is a non-starter. Even though Bledsoe has one more year than Harris, the incentive of Ball should be enough to warrant a straight up expiring.

Would love a norm for Mitchell Robison deal. If we could swing Lowry for herro and expirings you could end up with :

Fvv
Herro
OG
siakim
Robinson

And still have cap
space in the offseason to fix our bench. This would be the best case scenario for the raps

The thing is how much would he get paid next year? We would have to resign him and Boucher.

Herro is just not a very good player... I don't know why Masai has interest in him but he is a good scout. A big guard that can pass would be better than Herro who is mostly just hype right now.

He gets a lot of minutes on Miami and posts horrific advance stats. He is one dimensional and can't play the point. I would much rather have Powell than him.

Powell is a way better shooter than Herro it would be a massive downgrade and make us worse. No thanks. This is an extremely overhyped player. He doesn't have the size, weight, or athleticism to be average.

I only want Herro because of his perceived value to other teams and the fact that he's from Milwaukee...just incase. But I'm willing to beat that the second he becomes a Raptor people will start noticing that he's never really been all that good outside the bubble.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Powell is 7 years older and in line to get paid a lot more money this summer. That's why you'd be looking to make the move. It would be selling high on Powell and buying low on Herro. A 20 year old second year player in a slump isn't that unusual. Norm was putting up 11/3/2 at UCLA when he was 20.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Herro has a negative wingspan which is really detrimental on defense and he isn't even an average scorer. The potential isn't very high and he didnt have a great playoffs I don't see where the hype is. It's all generated by Heat hype highlight videos and a game. The Heat always play better when he's off the floor, that's a really bad sign. I'd still take him but look to reroute him as soon as possible.

Lowry for Olynyk, Dragic, Herro, and 2024 protected 1st.

Powell for Turner

I would use Herro to move up in the draft to draft in the top 3. 7th and Herro for Detroit 2nd to take Mobley, Kuminga, or Green.

i saw this idea a few times. Buts it for Lowry alone..... not with Norm too

Why would the Warriors trade a top 2 pick in Wiseman + another Lottery pick in a very strong draft for Norm and Lowry? Especially since two of their best players already play both Norm and Lowry's position, and they're better as well. You have to be realistic my man!

Personally, I'd take a deal involving Precious and Duncan if they don't want to part with Herro. Felt Precious was more of a Masai guy than Herro all along. Herro will be the hole in our defence if Miami does in fact include him, but the kid can definitely play offence.

No thanks. Hope Masai continues to hold until he gets what he wants

Yeah no, get out of here with that garbage. I'd rather keep Lowry and have him sign somewhere else than just hand him over to Miami for that.

Definitely not taking Duncan.

Duncan is going to get paid Bertans type of money this summer, which we will be forced to match unless we want to lose him for nothing. He's already 27 years old and doesn't really move the needle for our team (in the future or present). One could argue the very real possibility that Duncan after a payday is probably a neutral value contract/player.

So really the only long term benefit in a Precious + Duncan deal is Precious, who projects to be a rotation quality PF. We're trading Miami the chance to be the best team in the East and put up a real fight against Brooklyn.

If Riley wants that, he's going to have give me Precious and Herro. I'd be okay throwing in Flynn and Thomas if that makes them more comfortable.

Two firsts might be a little too much considering Philly is also going to have to give up quite a bit of depth just to get salaries to match.

I'd settle for Maxey, Thybulle, FRP and expirings.

Duncan Robinson on a team that struggles to generate offense and create open looks is NOT a good look. I damn sure hope a Miami deal isn't centered around him.

Also, why would we pay him and not Norm? Makes no sense unless we're flipping him to a 3rd team that needs a shooter and wants to contend NOW.
