The Magic are having a fire sale and everything is half off. Poor return IMHO.

The idiots in charge of the team really should have traded him in the offseason.

Two second round picks we'll only get rid of?

Would have liked to find a way to pull Langford or Nesmith rather than the second rounders, but we didn't have any leverage with Fournier.

This was ultimately what i expected we would get for him

Hes not a franchise changing player and is an expiring contract, teams werent gonna give up the farm for him
i had hoped for a 1st, or for Bol and a draft pick, but in the end i said yesterday we would end up with 2 2nds for him

I wanted a late first first or a young prospect for Fournier.

I guess the market was not there.

You all know how I feel about Evan Fournier.

2 second round picks?

It appears WeHam and Boston value him even less than I do.

I can't be too mad at this deal but it's still underwhelming. A buried prospect like Langford would have been better than 2 2nds that we would never use.

So the question is what about Gordon? I guess he isn't going to Boston.

This is what 2nd team rentals go for. Late firsts early seconds.
Oubre was a (whole year) rental and got a 1st rounder (top 20 protected), and he is a starter for the Warriors. Fournier was not going to start for any of the teams looking at him.

I am stunned how many people think Evan had more value than this.

Expiring contract who was almost certainly not looking to sign a new contract with the organization.

No, they value him exactly right. Him and Vucevic have robbed this team of 8 seasons, 8 WHOLE SEASONS, of absolute garbage. Literally killed my passion for the NBA. This is a momentus day for this organisation. Only now can we begin to heal the wounds and clean up the stain they both left on the carpet and walls of Amway.

when the dust settles and my emotions back in check I hope I'll talk like you are; I really love your optimism. 8-)
