No need to waste a pick on him, he is most likely going undrafted.

Liked him in the draft. Looks like he really does fit his draft profile of Paul Milsap. Too bad we didn't catch him somehow.
BTW, where is GoK? I'm sure he could give us some pointers on the latter parts of this draft.

He is deep into long youtube videos of potential late second round picks/undrafted guys and writing long posts in a google doc to transfer here later.

Re: March Madness and 2021 Draft
I haven't really given too much thought to the draft lately, Seeing as how we're finally out of the lottery and seemingly a legitimate playoff team with threat of potentially even making a deep run once in! ( fingers crossed of course).
But if this hasn't already been posted,
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.brightsideofthesun.com/platform/amp/2021/3/2/22308513/march-madness-preview-phoenix-suns-draft-watch-guide
Zona Sports does a really good job of covering some quality depth prospects in the draft for our consideration.
I still consider our greatest depth needs to currently be backup point guard and backup 4/5 ???

Re: March Madness and 2021 Draft
Baylor playing now.
I think someone mentioned Jared Butler of Baylor being a James Jones type of player. Jr PG, great from 3, great defense..he was earlier mocked to us.

Interestingly enough, another Baylor Jr PG is now mocked to us, Davion Mitchell, who is also a great defender and even a better 3 pt shooter, at over 46%

They are playing Villanova on CBS right now.

Re: March Madness and 2021 Draft
Well, their 3 pt shooting wasn't so great in that game (1-12) but their defense was on point in the 2nd half...they were down 7 at the half and ended up winning by 9.

Davion is definitely intriguing. Any thoughts on Sharife Cooper or perhaps David Johnson? Do you see any potential guards that might be an optimal archetype to be mentored by Paul as a potential replacement in our suspected range?

No thoughts on those guys. Yes, I think Davion or Jared Butler might fit what you say.

Gotta be the first time a team with a play in game made the final four.

Honestly I haven't gotten around to studying the players much yet, but based on first impressions I think the Suns might be interested in Sharife Cooper. The Suns need to address the future of the PG spot when CP3 eventually ages, and this kid is a volume playmaker. Just a gut feeling for now though
Living off borrowed time the clock ticks faster...

Re: March Madness and 2021 Draft
What a strange day for huge news. Roy Williams retiring was shocking, but Chris Beard dumps Texas Tech for Texas? I just can't believe he would go in state and in conference. That's some Top 10 Anime betrayal, Texas big brother-ing Texas Tech ****. He's literally going to go from Jesus to Judas in Lubbock. Gotta feel for Tech fans.
Part of me expects Bill Self to UNC, especially with all of the heat around Kansas lately, but who knows. It'd be a bit weird for him to take the same path as Roy lol.
