Orlando is wrapping up that award (at least for deadline day--Presti has it in the absolute bag). Gordon the idea has long been much better than Gordon the actual basketball player. I wouldn't overreact. Good addition if the price is right, but not a final piece imo.

I'm kinda surprised magic allowed them to include Harris. But entering year 1 of a real rebuild maybe they can rebuild his value and ship him out next year. Good deal from both sides.

Though I like it more for Denver I think, absolutely eating crow on the Magic right now. Didn't expect this at all.

Thought it would take a first at least just to move Harris for free.

I hate this one for Orlando. The last thing we need in a guard prospect is one who can't shoot like Hampton and that pick is likely mediocre at best.

Denver dumped Harris on them, gave them a project, and a late first. Dont think its a great return, unless u love RJ.

I tend to think that some people talked themselves into the Aaron Gordon hype machine, and valued him far higher than he deserved to be. Orlando media campaign helped cause this misperception.

I will say I like RJ Hampton more than most.

This is a brutally bad deal for Orlando. I have Harris as a net-negative contract, and that pick is 2025 AND PROTECTED. I say the Pick and Harris's contract are a wash which means Orlando traded Gordon for nothing.

Probably my favourite of the three trades we've made today. Gordon didn't suit being one of our main scoring options, and I think he's a tad overrated around the league so I won't be too disheartened to see him go. I would've been happy with a young asset and a 1st for him, so throwing in Harris to make the salaries work out is fine by me.

EDIT: Just seen the protection on the pick. Not great.
