I really don't see any point of watching often any games any time soon. We are back at square one, 2013, and waiting for ping pong balls and overtalking about how college prospect dribble the ball and how his shooting form looks like.
It's amazing how we menaged to fu** up rebuild to the point where in 10 years we have 0 assets to build future around other than 2021 pick, who , itself, isn't even asset, but potential asset.

I'm very pleased by weham s job, they ve put us in a great position

Now we can give plenty minutes to rj, chuma, wcj and mo and see how good they are

Then we rule the east once JI and Kelle r back

The AG trade return was outstanding. Vooch, I’m not so sure of. I’m okay with moving him, I’m just not a fan of WCJ. But we have cap space and picks at least.

Only getting two seconds for Evan again shows how trash this FO is. He should have been dealt a while ago but they waited too long in a half assed attempt at winning and now we got bread crumbs for him like with Payton. Except that Fournier is actually a good player and we should have gotten real value for him.

I’m happy to finally start over from the Vooch/AG/Evan trio, but I also don’t trust the current FO to fix it. I do feel better about our tanking odds with Vooch and Evan gone.

would like to hear why you think the AG return was outstanding? RJ cant shoot, Harris massively overpaid and looked lost and the pick will be late 20's.

We were looking for a young player and a pick and that is what we got. I like upside of Hampton over Aaron Nesmith or Romeo Langford. Gary Harris is just a throw in to make salaries work.

People here wanted a change more than actual improvment or good trade i guess.

So after we unloaded Vuc ( 2 time allstar ) Evan ( 18 ppg last 2 yeras) Gordon ( 16 ppg last 4 years) we gained:

Wendell Carter jr- injury prone center who only played 139 games in 3 seasons.
RJ Hampton, gugy who shot 29% for 3 in New Zealand
Otto Porter- who will never even suit up for a team
Gary Harris, guy payed $20M for this and next year who averages 9,7 ppg on 32% for 3

as far as picks go:
Nuggets 2021 pick is currently 22# pick.
Bulls pick in 2021 is currently 10th, just 2 games away to leave lottey projection ( as it probably will, Bulls are doing lot of trades in this moment )

2 second round picks for Evan ( complete throwaway)

and 2023 pick, with top 4 protection, and every intention of new Bulls front office to build contender.

I'm fine with new direction, but Magic removed 3 very good players and not gained single player to build future around.
Litearlly, whole faith of future of this team is upon 18 years old player in 2021 lottery. That's a high demand for a kid.

Toronto just got Gary Trent, Jr for Powell. I’m kind of jealous.

I think it's because Vuc, Fournier, and Gordon were also not guys to build around.

Damn Portland traded Hood and Trent for Powell.

Would have rather had him than Harris/Hampton

I'm a glass is half full type and I see this as a good thing. Top pick in the draft this year and next's plus 3 more first round picks to go along with Ji, Fultz, Cole, Mo and Chumba and we'll have a squad that might bring in some talent plus we'll have the funds to sign them up

Raptors media had inside joke how nobody watches Magic playoff games. You tihnk someboy will watch G league squad?

Nah.

Let's not fool ourselfs, how many of us actually watched anything that was going on from 2012-2015. Especially 2012 and 2013. Ghoust threads, and watching postups for Big Baby weren't really must watch tv.

I'm Magic fan, ofc i'll stick around, but i'm not killing my sleep to watch Dwayne Bacon take 20 jumpers a night.

Most defenetly were not, but were solid complimentary peaces. We didn't even get in return. We got injury prone center, very bad shooting guard and rookie guard who can't shoot. And potentially 1 lottery pick ( who probably won't land in lottery ).

Honestly, i’ll probably watch this team
Play for max 10 games after today. And probably
No more after that. There’s no way i’m watching this **** show more this season. Only Chuma being the reliable shooter left on the team. Tross i expect traded, but then again, can we rely on him? Haha

It is a promising lineup nonetheless.

I'm personally okay-to-happy with what Weltham did today. We've all been bitching about picking a direction. They finally did that. So I'm not gonna bitch about it. It's what I wanted. So now let's see what they can make of this new direction we find ourselves in.

Those threads were way more active than threads from this season. Maybe even last season too.

It's a strange feeling going from knowing the SL for about 5-6 years straight outside of PG, to complete unknown. Pretty refreshing. It's going to get ugly though. So buckle up. But it should be more exciting at least.
