Here we go with the Heat! Just can't keep Riley quiet no matter what the year.

Love this for Miami. Vet big shooter. Looks like Philly may have won the big prize.

Re: [Woj] Bjelica to Miami
Miami was looking for a 4 so this is likely a solid cheap pickup for them

Really curious what the return is, but I’m happy for Beli. I’m gonna miss him.

I wonder (ok, hope) it's a precursor to a Lowry deal and he's there to replace Olynk.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

Hm! Interesting. I was kind of hoping to see him back in MIN.
I swear, that guy has never been used in a way that maximizes his skill-set, but Spoelstra might. I see him as one of the NBA’s best coaches.

Love this. I was never concerned with getting a 2nd for Bjelica. I wanted to use him to dump Joseph but we accomplished that last night. We missed our opportunity to move him for value last offseason or deadline. I wanted him to go to a good team and hes going to be fantastic in Miami!

I think it’s funny that McNair is staying the course with this trade. Vlade wanted Harkless, so McNair gets him.

I think it’s a good return though. I’m happy for Bjelica and can’t wait to see him play some meaningful games.

This is exactly Jelly's value. I was floored when there were posters who actually thought he had first round or recent first round pick value.

Thrilled! This is great! But it begs questions for the Heat.
They're after Aldridge if he's bought out, but now they don't need him.
So is this a precursor trade where Olynyk or Achiuwa goes out.

Also I get that Harkless isn't "good" and hasn't really played ball in 2 years. But hes been a really good defender in his past.
I think if he stays on the team he will get minutes. Monte really upgraded the defense. With Bags out, Bjelica gone, Joseph gone, and Delon/Harkless in. We should be a much improved defensive team. We could always score, but we couldn't defend a g-league team.

I have seen absolutely nobody suggest that anytime recently--and nobody pays more attention to Bjelica talk than me.
But Miami just got a good player for free and a roster spot bonus. Dallas absolutely sucks for not offering a future 2nd and taking him.

One of two possibilities:
- McNair sees something in Silva
-This is an agent relationship building deal
Because somewhere out there had to be a 2nd.

Happy for Bjeli, but I just don't get it for Sacramento. They got a guy who I had to instantly google and a 3 and D guy who can't shoot.
