If OKC took both seconds over Bradley, Presti is slipping.

Pre-Trade Sixers bench was:
Maxey/Shake/Thybulle/Korkmaz/Scott/Dwight (I listed 6, yes)

They desperately needed Hill and to be able to do:
Hill/Shake/Thybulle//Scott/Dwight

Scott still sucks though..

Maxey didnt play well against us but I thought he was a fixture in PHI's rotation?

Lauri still available and fits into the Horford TPE...

I've always loved Hill and have been proposing trades for him to the Sixers since last year so I like it. Wish we could have figured out a way to match salary other than Bradley but it is what it is.

Way to raw for a run this year. Or maybe next year.

Or he just stays in Toronto. It was always going to be tough for teams to match salaries with Lowry and add meaningful value to Toronto and I don't see the Raptors dealing Lowry for PEZ.

Of course I could easily be wrong very shortly.

OKC just swapping Ferg for Rivers, and OKC is getting Rivers, Bradley, 2 2nds right? Or is this playing out differently?

He's going to Miami. They didn't move any pieces that would be a part of a Lowry deal to make that SAC trade. In fact I think the Bjelica deal ups the chances.

Whats the pt of NY being in this trade? Just to find a home for Rivers?

I'd say Miami is the more likely option. According to Brad Turner, Lakers are adamant they aren't shifting on THT and I'm struggling to see what the Lakers give up when he isn't involved that Toronto would bite on that also works out salary wise.

Lakers had a tough road to putting together value with THT. Without, there's nothing there for Toronto except to maybe spite the Clippers and send Lowry to a contender.

Ferg was traded from OKC to Philly this year. Needed to launder his salary.

Knicks get Sixers' late 2nd this year for Iggy. They also have to take Poirier to satisfy Philly's outflow requirements. They might cut Ferguson or Poirier.
OKC can use the Oubre TPE to take in Bradley and Rivers and create a 9.6M for Hill.

So, for 3 late (assumed) or distant 2nds, Philly turned Bradley into Hill with basically staying flat salary wise?

I really don't get it for the Knicks. Did they just take >5m more back in salary for a pick projected around 57th?

Not 5M, 1.5M because they dumped Rivers as well.

Thanks. Still seems steep, but suddenly reasonable.

River has future money too, right? So getting off money for next year seems like a win as well.
