I'm not worried about the FRP's. This is a big time move. Huge get for the Bulls. Instantly makes us a better team.

vuc was available for half the price and AG was more valuable yet nobody here suggested a trade a yr ago.

Neither are you. On the otherhand, AKME are.

Also, feel free to provide evidence that Vuc was available for half the price.

And also, feel free to provide a single player evaluation metric that suggests AG is more valuable.

Huge upgrade and makes Lauri even more expendable because Vuc is much better than Lauri in every facet of the game. I also like that he’s at least under contract for 2 more season after this one.

Love this trade. I like Carter as a person and I do believe he'll become a solid NBA player but I was done waiting on him to developed. Otto well....nothing lost there, imo. Bulls losing two firsts is not something I will lose sleep over, especially if the Bulls become a better team. Vucevic is worth the gamble, imo.

Zach has to be happiest person in the NBA right now.

The argument is not rational. We give up the pick after the lottery if we are out of the top 4. If we win the lottery. We still the pick.

I'll post more about this when things calm down but if you do a search on big men who average 3 assists per game, the ensuing list is mostly elite players. Vuc has 167 assists this year in an offense that doesn't move nearly as much as the Bulls.

Let's put it this way. Vuc has historically been a much better passer than Thadgic. His is going to go bonkers in that hub-center role and he will be your second creator. Hell, he could be a lesser Jokic like first creator in this offense.
