Shams was saying he's going to get a "very significant" contract this offseason

Sounds like Shams is shilling to pump up Horton's value for the Lakers.

Hot take but I like THT's upside more than Herro's.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

It is tricky because Toronto wouldn't really be the right team for Lopez;

TOR: Lopez (find a team to reroute him to for some value to TOR), Kurucs, Forbes, KCP - problem is none of these players really make sense for Toronto, but this is basically what we would need to send out to be able to get Schroeder.
LAL: Lowry
MKE: Schroeder

This essentially makes Portis, Giannis or Tucker is your starting center. I'd hate to move Portis out of what he has been doing. Just don't see a good way to do it unless you want to move Pat, Portis and Tucker, but that would deplete us way too much.

The deals I've seen so far don't reflect the seller's market I've heard so much about. Neutral at best.

That Vuc deal made me feel even better about Holiday. Two CHI FRPs and WCJ while taking back Aminu is close to what we gave up for Jrue. And of course Jrue >>> Vuc.

Agreed. I don't really think we have enough to get anything done while still competing this year. I just think Schroeder would be an ideal fit on this team.

Am I crazy to rather have KCP than Oladipo if I'm the lakers? They just talked about that type of hypothetical on espn and that was my gut. I grant I'm lower on Dipo than most and I acknowledge Dipo is probably still the better player technically. But I mean for the Lakers and what they need the guy to do I think I'd rather have KCP (plus of course whatever else you'd kick in to the trade) than Dipo.

Sorry I keep asking date questions. What's the deadline for a player to be waived and still be eligible for a team's playoff roster? That's still a thing, right?

Could be true, but feels like a lot of his effectiveness protecting the rim is down, his left hand is late to contest all the time when someone drives to that side but most notably, he is the only salary slot that you can use to make any kind of deal unless you are breaking up Giannis, Midds, Jrue.

I think Portis level of play and Giannis starting to spend more time at the 5 have a lot to do with it as well.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
