that defeats the purpose of the powell for trent jr trade, low cap hold aspect of it.

Nope not me.

We'd just be back here a year later with an older asset who's play may have declined by then or he sustained an injury.

Best case scenario, we just wasted 2 more years of OG, Pascal and FVVs prime.

I understand the Heat holding out on Herro but I really don’t get the Lakers holding out on THT. Lakers need a 3rd star if they wanna compete against the Nets and THT ain’t gonna help them much in terms of winning right now
