Adrian Wojnarowski: Sources: Houston is trading PJ Tucker, Rodions Kurucs and Bucks’ 2022 first-round pick back to Milwaukee for DJ Augustin, DJ Wilson and 2023 unprotected first-round pick. Houston also gets right to swap its 2021 second-round pick for Milwaukee’s FRP pick unless it falls 1-9.

IND loss
TOR loss
CHA down 30pts in the 4th
MIA down 9pts starting the 4th

Can be a good night for ATL without playing

Wizards overpay Davis Bertans and now make him available.

The organization took a small stride recently by making Davis Bertans available in trade talks with select teams, but not to much avail as his 2020-21 campaign, loaded with poor conditioning, shooting woes, and now a nagging calf injury, have decreased his value league-wide in the first year of his five-year/$80 million contact.

Prime example of a bad team overpaying a mediocre player.

And the player getting way too comfortable way too quickly. :nonono:

If he was playing like last year, he would deserve this contract, they were good when they had him and Beal, but this season, he was not good enough and very inconsistent.
But it starts to change recently, on the last 10 games, he has the best Net rating of WAS, and by far (+6.3 while Beal and Westbrook have -4). He's clearly not the main problem of WAS, they are horrible without him

Davis Bertans needs more touches but it's hard to accomplish that with Westbrook and Beal.

LOL...Back to a bad team he goes.

According to Joshua Robbins of The Athletic, the Celtics are sending Jeff Teague and two future second-round picks to the Magic in exchange for Evan Fournier.

Teague's impact in Boston was minimal, at best being a streaming option whenever Kemba Walker was given the night off. He won't have an impact in Orlando as, per the report, he has been told that he will be waived by the Magic. Managers can leave Teague on the waiver wire.
