That means SA has to have moved someone. Maybe the Lyles trade actually went through?

Too bad, had high hopes for Chriss coming into this year.

Should have been Oubre, but they've saved a lot of money moving bad players so...

The Spurs don't have the room under the tax to do this deal unless they moved someone else. I doubt GS paid them enough to bypass tax payments in a COVID year.

I used to be excited to see Cady in the summer league. He was ancient for a prospect though.

Never heard of this guy before. Assume it’s unlikely he ever suits up in the NBA?

If there were I'd hope the Spurs wouldn't do this trade.

Power forward/center, soon to turn 29, drafted 55th in 2015, currently playing in Korea. That's a negative.

Sounds like he’s due for a breakout season

Gotta imagine that they know that Gay or Patty won't hit a bonus/incentive and keeps them under the tax.

Almost forgot, they probably already had a buyout with Aldridge ready to go and knew how much he was giving up.

Re: Woj: Warriors/Spurs
Hopefully we get a shot at signing him next year, but he might go for too much. Chuck doesn't know what he's talking about calling Chriss a bad player. Last season he showed a ton for a guy nearly everyone had given up on.
