Hawks will have pure scorer at the 1-guard for every minute of every playoff game this post season.

According to this projection, the Lou Will acquisition is a wash. I'm still surprised LW was valued so lowly that we got a couple of 2nd rounders included...even if they are later picks.

Has Lou been that bad this season?

I don't think he recovered from the strip club visit with his teammates during the bubble.

Passing vet who can be a problem in the playoffs to a scoring vet who can be a problem in the playoffs. The sixth man award should be named after Lou.

I guess we got out of the Rondo extra year deal (bothered some folks). Personally was hoping to get a dose of playoff Rondo but looking forward to playoff Lou.

Go Hawks!

I don't believe it change a lot, I'd have prefer the uncertainty of Rondo being Playoffs-Rondo than the certitude that Lou can score but can cost games when is on a bad game with opponents scoring a lot more than ATL.
And changing like that means we lost a player who know the team and get a player who don't know anything in the middle of the season.
Financial and picks choice, that's all IMHO, unless his game can be at his best in our system

Lou said he would retire if the Clippers trade him. While I don't expect him to retire I'm curious to see what he does in free agency.
He still has a small compound in Grayson , GA so this keeps him.close to family and friends.

The Clippers had a pretty good team with Tobias, Gallo, SGA, Lou and Trezz. They now walked away from them all. I have not seen Lou play this year. If Lou is still the player that he was 2 years ago then this is a clear win for the Hawks. I do not know how much age and injuries have effected him. As far as the retirement stuff goes Lou thought of retiring when he was traded to the Clippers as well. It must be difficult to be in multiple trades.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

They have a much better team now.
They need to focus on subtracting some of their players, which they have, but they still have a couple of that need to go.
SGA is missed by Clipper fans for sure but probably not the rest you mentioned.

Good.
I just saw the Instagram post.
Feed the man the ball this time around. We have some nice shooters coming off our bench now.

They improved mostly because of their big 2 (KL and PG) but I believe they would be even better if they had less turnover. Their win totals have not gone up that much over that team from 2 years ago. They also have given way a lot of draft picks in their future.

The backup PG slot feels fully covered for the first time since the Teague/Schroeder tandem years ago.
