Yeah I understand getting in position for the play but step into more

Yup. Someone needs to have him work on his floater game all next offseason.

Probably gassed too. Defending, running point, rebounding, and trying to make buckets. Can't wait to add Rondo to the rotation

R-Jax won this, all props 28 pts, 7-7 FTs plus+14

But PG still carried the team--24 pts, 13 rebs, team-high plus+20

HT: Mann's double-double 10 pts 12 reb plus+15

Great Win and great coaching by Lue. Can't imagine a Doc led team getting this W.

Considering all the players out, this was a really great team win, especially in a back to back against the same team...

Interesting. Lue said he wasn’t sure if Rondo would start or come off the bench.

There is no plan. Pure dice roll. We'll work it out on the fly. But with Marcus and Batum switching units, Mann stepping up, Kennard possibly not drowning in an ocean of suck, and with Bev being out for so long and now maybe an adjustment to Ibaka and Zu's playing time, we were going to be starting over a bit anyway. We are not dismantling a well-oiled machine.

In "Moneyball," Billy Beane calls it the F-***ing A Trade" where you just shake stuff up for the sake of the shake. I don't think we looked good enough that we didn't need one, and getting a guy with 2 rings and 8 apg lifetime is not a bad way to do the "Effin A."

shoutout to Zu's double-double too

10 pts 13 rebs 5 blks plus+13

it might be ok if Ibaka played 20-24 minutes and Zu 24-28
Zu took Trezz's minutes and played 25 mpg in last year's playoffs

BTW--Zu's recent emergence probably means Drummond will have no interest in the Clippers if/when he's bought out

It will be interesting. Doc is Ty's mentor and Doc has been pulling his own shorthanded magic lately without Embiid, and Simmons even missed a couple of those. [And Danny Green has been ass, lol.]

Sixers’ Doc Rivers is the Coach of the Year favorite: Win at Golden State makes team 7-1 after break | Marcus Hayes

He’s got the team on top of the conference without his MVP candidate and with a lineup that’s less stable than the Eagles’ offensive line.

https://www.inquirer.com/sixers/philadelphia-76ers-doc-rivers-joel-embiid-20210323.html
Doc Rivers and his coaching staff are doing a hell of a job, and he knows it.

In the eight games since the All-Star break, three of the team’s starters have missed at least three games and the regular starting lineup has yet to play together. Still, after the 108-100 win at Golden State on Tuesday night, the team has gone 7-1 and retained the top spot in the Eastern Conference at 31-13 with 28 games remaining. The one loss came to the Bucks, without MVP favorite Joel Embiid, in overtime.

Embiid has missed seven of the eight games. All-Star guard Ben Simmons and sharpshooter Seth Curry missed three. Only Tobias Harris and Danny Green have played all seven. In his first season with the Sixers, this would have Rivers pulling his hair out ... if he had any.

ADD: Sixers are 9-1 in March. On Monday, we get the Bucks, on a 13-1 run including 8 in a row. :-o
