Teague and Porter please. Honestly, I'd be happy with just one

That’s a lot of guaranteed money for LMA to give up.

Hammonds.

Right now, though, it feels like the Magic held on a bit too tight and a bit too long to players who could’ve netted more value sooner and, instead of securing a triumphant return, wound up with more of a shoulder shrug in what is now a decade-long construction project that hasn’t really built anything or been particularly fun along the way.

It’s weird they took back Carter. What is Hammond’s plan with Bamba?

It's a real possibility that someone gives Trent a ridiculous offer as a RFA, Toronto passes, and in all actuality got diddly squat for Powell.

Sure but Powell's a UFA.

Portland probably feels good about making the most of Powell's bird rights, right?

He's gonna get paid a ton. Blazers knew that going in.

Fun fact: Gary Trent Jr's movement trajectory is the same as Sr's so far.

I don't think anyone really leveled up in the east.... Maybe the heat.

Seems even after today the east is a three dog race without the 76ers or nets doing much.

I mean, they might have a pretty interesting close to the season and get taken out in the first round. You'd think Chicago fans would want more than that for their "peak".

Feels... Fine? I feel like Gary Trent Jr. will get big FA offers.

I thought Powell was definitely in Toronto's future plans. That's the shocker for me.

I've been wanting Trent on the Bucks for a couple of seasons now. He'll be cheaper than Powell, don't you think?
Toronto wants to go ultra athletic and relying on Powell makes them lose that perpetual pressure defensively. His price tag keeps going up and I get why they didnt want to pay him 20m+. I do think Trent is going to get paid too, but at least he does what they want their guys to do.

What? Trent is not good at defense.

Unless the league expands rosters to 25.
But that's not the point. Once you get close, you can package picks with players to improve your roster. Assuming you make league-average or better picks.

The Bulls are really going for the playoffs.

The Celtics? I have no idea how this helps them.
