Probably but once he wins this fight and can beat Jones too there will be no room for debate. Hopefully he doesn’t take a year off if he wins this one.

There is really little debate as it stands right now. If he beats Francis for a 2nd time, there is absolutely no debate. He doesnt need to beat Francis and Jon for there not to be a debate.

Holland at 170 would be a freaking monster. Glad to see he was considering it.

Really impressed me with this interview. He's clearly full of potential but seems to be very floaty. Not sure exactly what he wants from this game but with the right people around him, he's going to become great. Just was a little too comfortable losing rounds but was right when he said he wasn't taking damage.

You think Stipe gets KOd by Henderson or ragdolled by Matt Lindland? Dude's 38 and still going strong. Fodor was getting his ass beat time-after-time by his own mid-30s. By MWs.

If Stipe beats Ngannou at 38? LOL. It's not even worth entertaining the comparison. Who was the Brazilian club boxer who beat the **** out of Fedor in Russia c. 2015? LOL. The GOAT.

Haha the untouchable Cain. Prime Cain had Francis level power in both hands, Max Holloway level cardio, with a little Jordan Burroughs wrestling and Gordon Ryan BJJ combined.

Or so you would think after hearing Rogan talk about prime Cain haha.

Yup Fedor is much more myth than actual substance. His resume really isnt that great. Hell Stipe's last 7 fights is a better resume than Fedor's entire resume. If he adds Francis again to it, the gap between him and everyone else at HW is pretty damn large.

Fedor beat Lindland, reversed his attempted takedown and submitted him. Age isn't everything, Fedor had more fights before Werdum than Stipe is ever going to have. Fedor was also a bit undersized at HW to begin with compared to guts like Big Nog, Coleman, Cro Cop, Arlovski.

Only a little myth. I get it was a different era but there were some very good fighters in their between the Japanese fake wrestlers. He was at the top of the division for 6 years, and that might never be matched. The best of his era. The Babe Ruth of MMA.

In those 6.5 years, how many of those fights against top-notch fighters? Big Nog 2x, Cro Cop, and...

Sure he has wins over fighters with names (Arlovski, Sylvia, Hunt, Coleman, Randleman) but those guys were more name than talent.

He literally has 2 wins over big named fighters (yes 3 total but 2 fighters). Stipe's 4 year stretch even with the DC loss is more impressive than the 6.5 year run by Fedor in Pride.

Fedor was body locked and flailing until he grabbed the ropes. He didn't reverse the throw against Lindland without cheating. Lindland all of 195 lbs.

Was he undersized against Hendo?

He and Mirko weighed the exact same. Nog another 5 lbs.

Yea, prime Cain, the brown pride, destroyer, the pride of Mexico, is undefeatable, unless he goes to Mexico.

Stee-pay is going to KO Mr Sandman countering a wild missed uppercut lets just say @ 2:32 of the 2nd round. Boink, right on the chin of the pursuing giant just like Verdoom got slepted. as the great Ariel Helweenie once coyly remarked, precision beats power, timing beats speed and I live in a basement apartment only accessible by hatch and ladder with my vava and vavo

One good thing about the Aljo fiasco is that even if/when Stipe loses, we still have at least one UFC champion who has to work a second job!
