Seems like quite a change of tones. AK obviously disagreed.
Ouch. He went from "Way too old & a career loser" and a "Horrible idea" to the greatest trade in Bulls history in only a matter of a few days? He also has one of the best value contracts in the league, so I wouldn't say "Way too much $$" is an accurate statement either.
Was it an "atrocious idea" or "akin to the Gasol Lakers fleece trade. Just incredible stuff from Artie & Marc"?
You were right about one thing: the Bulls are in good hands, just not at all in the way you implied. Seems like you were more interested in keeping things intact and banking on WCJ and Coby "coming around" and reaching their potential rather than trading for an all-star like Vuch. Crazy how things can change so drastically in just a few days.
Hmm...
Superiority complex and maturity issues aside, everything you said today flies in the face of what you said just a few days ago. Looks like there was room for you on the "trades are good" bandwagon after all.
Done and done.

The ironic thing about all of that nonsense is that the Chicago Bulls fanbase is arguably the most toxic in all of sports, and it’s got nothing whatsoever to do with the likes of me. Absurdly, almost comically pessimistic; it’s hilarious, and those comments from the other night were almost like a comic writer’s parody of your typical Bulls fan LOL. Like if someone sat down & wrote a sketch about your average Bulls fan, it’d essentially be that thread from the other night. I don’t even even want to repeat some of those comments because they were so utterly cringe, but they definitely deserve to be compiled for comic relief going forward.
Also, perhaps learn to read more thoroughly? Anyone that watches NBA basketball would’ve been disappointed with the Bulls giving up 4/5 1st rounders for Vooch, and it would indeed have been an atrocious decision....but They obviously got him for nothing. Durpy derp

Yep, I just dropped in to say "cool!" to all of my old-time Bulls board peeps, but this epic pwning instantly dwarfed the trade's impact.
Anyway, pretty cool move for long-suffering Bulls fans. Sure, there's a risk in trading for a 30 year old big man (Ben Wallace territory, although not quite that old), but Vucevic seems to be in good health for what he does. And at any rate, the Bulls weren't on a recognizable path to elite status with this season's cast, and now they have two outstanding offensive threats. If you stand pat you stand mediocre, even if you're trending upward. This trade showed some cojones, acumen, and a vision for near-term excellence. It's fun to have a legit reason to be excited, and Bulls fans haven't been there for a while. Nice.
