The George Hill role became staying out of the way. OKC has too many younger guards, I don’t think he stays long.

Had to have been under the basis of a larger deal going down that ultimately came undone. I was seeing Oubre's name flying around, and others saying Green had been informed by his agent a deal was going down. I assume it would have been in a 3 team with Lowry going to Philadelphia and Green possibly being routed to GS. Who knows though, but I'm happy Mr. Three Rings is staying
What confused me was it coming out after Philly traded for Hill, I'm guessing it was info that pertained to talks for Lowry that happened prior to that trade, that just happened to leak after the trade.
Green to Warriors
Oubre + Philly assets + Philly fillers (Scott/Ferg/Bradley etc)to Raptors
Lowry to Philly
Makes a ton of sense and was likely what the rumors were about.

I think it was definitely about Lowry, and not necessarily dead after the Hill trade.
If lumped in as one deal on the paperwork with the Hill deal, Lowry to Philly with Green/Maxey/Scott would have worked financially, and I imagine that plus a pick was what was on the table.

Danny Green (15m) + Mattise Thybulle (2.5m) + Tyrese Maxey (2.5) + Mike Scott (5m) + 1st round pick(s) for Kyle Lowry, was an outrageous and ridiculous request. The End.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down
