How in the world do we have minutes for Dieng?

Idk why you guys want him.

I would only look to add perimeter defensive players if anything. Perhaps a shooter.

He's a 3rd string center for insurance purposes, just in case Claxton or DJ has to miss time. He's that backup shot blocker/rebounder that can also shoot the 3. I don't see how this can be a problem. We can add Dieng and also get that perimeter defender you want.

Dieng is a rim protector. Reminds me of Dkembe Mutombo. He can also shoot. Solid backup big.

Drummond also just got bought out. If we can’t get him we have the Dieng option.

Blake is a solid piece. If we can get a center and a shooter out of the buyout scrap heap we will be set.

Dieng can shoot and defend. A change of pace from what we have now.

I do agree though. I get a another perimeter player and waive TLC.

I just don't think he his going to accept that role when he can play real minutes for someone else.

Makes no sense to bring a decent veteran and then tell him he can't play.

He will definitely get to play, I'm pretty sure there will be games we rest DJ , Jeff Green maybe Claxton as well. Or even in certain matchups we will use him. He also has a chance to win a ring. So you want us to roll with what we have now? It's no secret we're in the hunt for a big, whether it's McGee, Drummond, Whiteside etc..

McGee is gone unfortunately to Denver. Some of these trades I missed also like Reddick to Mavs.

Teague got waived. He's been fantastic at shooting the 3 ball this season, and can be more Kyrie insurance. Him and Griffin off the bench can keep the offense afloat when Harden has to sit.

Holy crap. We got Aldridge. Better fit than Drummond. Can’t believe it. Big hole just filled. This is beyond crazy.

Great depth signing in LMA.

Need to sign a wing and then for Dinwiddie to return this season. Then we are 12 deep.

What you guys think about Glenn Robinson III for the last spot? We need a defensive wing and him seems the better guy on the market.

I'm glad to see us sign Johnson to a 2nd 10-day. He has the motor and athleticism to stick around in the league.

I hope we keep him for the rest of the year and beyond.

I have a feeling we pulled another Dinwiddie heist with this young man.

JJ Riddick is pissed that the Pelicans traded him to Dallas instead of buying him out.

He says they promised him the latter and went back on their word, but who knows?

Maybe it'a just because I'm a Nets fan, but I think he had his heart set on signing with the Nets.

It's no secret he has his own pad in Brooklyn too.

My guess is if Otto Porter or James Johnson accepts a buyout, we'll pursue them with the DPE. Otherwise, I hope we sign Rondae. I feel like he was here too early, he didn't succeed here because we needed foundational pieces then. In a 9th or 12th man role, he be amazing.

Alize is making the decision whether to keep him a very tough one. He's played pretty much all garbage time but he's killing it every time he gets minutes the advanced stats are absurd at the moment (leading the team in pretty much every single one)

I certainly wouldn't be mad if we did keep him on a real contract hopefully with a cheap team option going forward. Definitely interested in seeing more of him in the remaining few days, if he can guard wings competently then I think it's a no brainer we keep him.
