IMO, Mokoka is on a 2-way.
That's not your opinion, that's a fact.

If other teams had interest I’m guessing they’d do him the favor of waiving him. But I doubt that’s the case so they might as well keep him.

They might as well keep him?! What on earth for? You know he'll be out of the league after this, right? He's clogging up a roster slot that we could be spending on a low risk high upside option, like a D-league all-star or a clutch buy-out signing like Jeff Teague / Cory Joseph / Hassan Whiteside / Gorgui Deng.

If Cory Joseph gets bought out and wants to join us instead of a contender (for whatever reason), come on down. But we don't have a role to offer any of the other guys you mentioned.

Felicio is probably thinking to himself that the bulls must love him so much since they’ve kept him on the team for 5-6 years now lol. Crazy, he’s been here so long and somehow managed to make it through all these trade deadlines/ offseasons without getting moved or bought out.

All without providing anything on the court. Easy money. Would be funny if he makes it again and finishes his contract here.

You can't waive somebody with the nickname Shrek. Just can't.

No waiver. We don't want to jeopardize Bulls merchandise sales down in Brazil.

Don't think so. It's pretty obvious by now that he has every bit as much plot armor as his namesake.

Wait. Isn't he still an expiring contract that can be used in trade at the end of this season?

Can we send him down to the G-League?

I'm not a trade guru, but I think the window passed with the trade deadline, did it not?

Al-Farouq Aminu may be a option, and makes more than Felicio.

Correct, players who contract expire at the end of this season can not be traded.

He’s just here for Vucevic and Theis to abuse at practice I guess.

I assume it's either money laundering or blackmail. Nobody else was gonna pay him a dime above the minimum, I don't understand who GarPax thought they were bidding against.

Few years ago I said I had no clue how Felicio got in the league in the first place, let alone how he got that extension, and some Bulls fan responded to me saying how promising he was. I can not believe he got that contract, that is IMO the most incompetent move from NBA exec I have ever seen. I mean there were worse deals, but none of it had less upside than paying Felicio that money, he was so obviously not NBA material and not even close to it.

Also, remember the original thread when there were WAY more people than you would've thought vehemently defending the contract...saying it was no big deal, and that people were freaking out for no reason? Well...it was the free cheese for Felicio that so many predicted, and waste of money, and roster spot that could, and should've been invested in better players.

They actually keep him in the basement of the UC to make sure the stadium doesn't blow away on windy days.

I think we can all agree that the best part of Felicio is the release.

I think they might need him tonight since Theis isn't here, but he is definitely a roster spot that would be better used by Benny if we can't find a good vet.

I’d be equally useless as Felicio in an NBA Game. I personally would have gladly taken his contract to be the team whipping boy.

Whats the over/under we clear this spot in time to grab a playoff qualified backup?

Another playmaker? Anyone worth while left?
Or get a big body that can actually play? (Sorry Shrek)

It seems like we are keeping him. Maybe the goal is to sign him to a large unguaranteed contract next year to use as a trade chip?
