KCP produced in the bubble playoffs didn't he?
Otherwise, Lakers might not have won it all.

Are the Lakers and Drummond communicating via the US postal service? What's taking so long?

Lol they **** with his best friend from way back in Detroit the other day. I remember when Drummond was smashing the Nickelodeon chick and he was taking kcal to the filmings and stuff. He also was one of the reasons Detroit tried to give him 80 mil as they were tight.
Realistically though being fair to Drummond and the Lakers, he’s never been a free agent before in his career. Take a meeting with Boston out of respect because it keeps you in good graces come this summer. Take a meeting with the knocks because you need to know if they will pay you now because they could offer him a multi year deal today and that’s long term security. Take a meeting with the Lakers last because you have a house in LA and hear from AD and Bron, and more than that hear from Vogel that you’re guaranteed a starting center job and minutes because the second you as a true big let yourself be a bench player in the league your legs go be cut out from you this summer in negotiations.
I hope he comes to the Lakers but I take all the meetings if I’m him. If I’m Aldridge too I listen to multiple offers too as he needs to make sure if he signs with Miami as a buyout he’s not go be a 15 minute bench player like Joe Johnson and Iguodala were. Due your due diligence if you’re them both

Saw a tweet that said he met with Boston today. We might know something in 24hrs.

I read that majority within the Knicks feel that Drummond is a bad fit to the squad. The guys on the Celtic board are saying they don't even want Drummond. Celtic guys are saying they don't want to revert back to two big men starting line up again. I think Drummond has no choice but to choose the Lakers.

I’ve never been a huge Drummond fan but we do need a big.
I would have preferred McGee for 15 minutes a game but that is no longer likely.
I doubt LMA comes here and not sure he’s what we need.
Olynyk would be a good fit. Can spread the floor and very good on D specially on P&R.
Whiteside would also be good for half a year although I wouldn’t want him on this team longer term.
A wing like Porter or even Bradley would be good too.

Yeah a dark horse to me is Miami of Aldridge doesn’t decide that’s what he wants. Drummond has a hell of a choice to make.
I think the teams he can restore his image are Miami and LA. Miami needs one more big body without Kelly and Leonard. They need one more talented big body next to bam for the playoffs. LA needs a starting 5 and lob threat who can rebound and block shots.
I think the team he can get his money is the Knicks. I mean if they offer him long term money now by all means take it and it makes their free agency easier as they have him inked and then can concentrate solely on pg help.
The Nets make him a offer but he really is going to **** himself just to win. Deandre is their guy, they had him starting over Allen. Uncle Jeff is their guy. Blake was recruited by KD like he said. If he goes there he go get benched. Getting benched plummets his value down to bet a bench player salary and **** his whole market up.
I think you hear an offer from Boston, San Antonio, and teams like that because you need to be respectful for the franchise history. I think you listen to the Hornets because MJ is MJ and you do better for yourself listening to him and not getting that hate on the internet from his fans

If Drummond and Aldridge signs elsewhere, I'd vote Gorgui Dieng. He can shoot all the way out to the three point line and is mobile enough to not be a total liability on defense. Perfect role player next to LBJ and AD if you ask me.

Re: Official trade thread/buy-out market 20-21 edition
I wouldn't wait for Drummond, he is a bad defender and he is one of the dumbest and most selfish players out there. If Vogel can convince him, to focus and improve his overall awareness I'd of course welcome him, but I'm not sure how probable it is...
I'd get Dieng right away: he has solid fundamentals, is a threat from 3 and mid-range as well, and being 6'10, he has the height to guard traditional big men. He is not a good defender but at least his IQ is not as putrid as Drummond's. He seemed to be a fairly serviceable bench big for Memphis and this is exactly what we need.

I saw a rumor Ben McLemore may get bought out... If we could get Drummond and Porter, we'd be set.

Yeah LMA is off the list, although I never really thought he would be on our list anyway, since he's not what we need.
I'd be happy with either Olynyk/Drummond and Bradley/Porter.
one big, one wing .
and then we'd be set for the stretch run and playoffs

M Robinson also fractured his foot too ... negligence on the part of his agent if he doesn’t go back to the Knicks and say pay us big money so he can start here and help you to the playoffs
I want him on the lakers but that injury just changed a landscape of negotiations

I think Drummond still comes to LAL and Dieng now goes to the Knicks.
