So underrated for his time. Lyrically, there were few better when he was at the top of his game.

No he’s a legend for sure. Wordplay is ridiculous, it’s funny later in his career he was supposed to have an album out with Dre on aftermath but stylistically they never really meshed- outside of a few tracks here or there.

I always preferred him on tracks with that premo scratch and vibe.

Love Rakim.

Pretty sure the In Da Club beat was supposed to be for Rakim but ended up with 50 Cent somehow.

She was a riot. The Bluth matriarch will be missed.

Dylan, gospel-style. Interesting idea. Not my favorite version.

The mothers/fathers verse seems to have been left out, which makes sense given the contest.

I really had no expectations / was reluctant when we started it, but it was hilarious.

Also, on the complete other end of the spectrum, I finally started ZeroZeroZero (thanks to Cave). So good.

You finish that one yet? So well done. The score, cinematography, the acting, filmed on 3 continents in like 5-6 countries, with 3 intertwining stories they tied together pretty well. Pretty epic in scale, tbh.

Yeah it was great. Epic is definitely the right word. I can't imagine the budget for that thing. I didn't even really hear about it til you mentioned it here. Maybe saw it pimped on Prime, but I was "drug cartel show"-ed out, so probably wouldn't have watched it otherwise. But, this was a lot more than just that.

Yeah, the wild part is that it is largely an original screenplay. It is very loosely based on a true crime novel about the international drug trade that written by the Italian journalist who wrote Gomorrah. Wild stuff.

I started it and loved it but with my son it’s been hard to binge- so I started over again and am now on episode 3. Pretty awesome

It’s NOT for everyone, but “Bad Trip” on Netflix is hilarious. Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, and Tiffany Haddish made a Borat style prank movie.

Out on April 23rd. One of my favorite YA book series. Hope they don't screw it up.

It gets more insane (and violent) from there! My wife tapped out there, lol.

Man, I never listened to Smashing Pumpkins after Melloncollie and the Infinate Sadness for some reason. Their first few albums were great. I see I didn’t miss anything. Everything after that is pretty bad

Went on a Pink Floyd kick this past week. Syd was done dirty by them. I get it, he wasn’t as ambitious and was clearly eccentric and increasingly fly erratic due to all LSD but damn. He still has the best solo album of any of the members. Guy was super talented. Shame we didn’t get more music from him. Crazy how good they became despite losing the guy who wrote most of their music
