how can anybody vote him as a mvp , he basically played like crap to get traded to the team he wanted to go to , sorry that's not a mvp. Another thing doesn't he look like a ewok?

True but I do wonder what a ring this year would mean to Aldridge personally. Jumping onto this Nets roster and winning a ring has to feel a bit hollow, at least to me it would.

Let's assume the Nets win the championship this year and Aldridge retires in a few years. When we look back at his career, are people going to elevate his legacy because he jumped to the Nets mid-season? I guess it depends on how influential he is in the playoffs but I wouldn't think this championship will elevate his legacy.
