I always thought NY made the most sense. Only team that can offer significant multyear deal.

Knicks have about $15 million in cap space. Knicks offer Drummond a multi year deal starting at $15 million he would be dumb not to take it

Drummond doesn't really seem like a Thibodeau kind of guy but I wouldn't have been surprised if the Knicks nabbed him at a reasonable price on a multi-year deal, you don't get a lot of chances to upgrade on the cheap in the NBA but maybe he's not really an upgrade.
