Bro....What in the actual **** is going on...
This might be the easiest ring in the history.

Yeah they look unstoppable tbh. It's big because now they have 4 guys to throw at Embiid and absorb fouls.

Good for you LMA. Go get you a ring brother. Thank you for the past 5 years.

I’m starting to adopt an “anyone but the Nets attitude”

Re: Aldridge to the nets
Yeah but that's the problem, we needed more big man defense, not offense really. I get that he brings something different to the roster (an actual center size big who is a legit pick & pop option) but his bad defense won't make things much better.DoctorX wrote:DarkXaero wrote:People really overreacting to the signing of washed up 35 year old LMA? Really? I'm not even sure if he's better than DJ at this point and DJ mostly sucks.
I have watched a lot of spurs games this year. He still has it on the offensive end. Offensively he's a lot better than DJ. He's terrible on the defensive end but I think he will look better now that he's playing with the Nets.

LMA has always matched up well with Embiid,Davis,Jokic. His big body gives them problems and wears them down. Those are all guys the Nets could potentially face in the playoffs. This is a big signing for the Nets.

I honestly could care less about the 2017 and 2018 Warriors winning. Those weren't real championships to me.
I could care less if Brooklyn wins either.
Pathetic.

The Nuggets are more likely to quit in 6 quarters than they are to beat the Nets in 6 games...
With that being said I have no idea how LMA and Griffin will share the court together...

Re: Aldridge to the nets
Good. Hopefully this will be the impetus for the league to change it's buyout rules.
I don't know how the Griffin's and Aldridge's can feel any sense of accomplishment winning with the Nets. Hey, we joined a pre-made Superteam at mid-season when we were so broke down and overpaid that we had no trade value but I got a ring now!!1!!1

Move this team back to Newark where they belong. Embarrassing how players just want NY, LA, Miami.

Lamarcus matches up really well with Embiid physically along with Davis,Jokic. I have seen him battle those guys the last few years to standstills. His big body wears them down physically. That's where he comes into play for the Nets if they face those teams in the playoffs.

Re: Aldridge to the nets
stop the buyout market trash.
stop widening the talent gap between teams every year.
stop encouraging every teams not inplayoffs to pay their vet stars to leave.
stop using small market teams as the new d-league in disguise.
there is a reason why lakers, clips and nets trade all their picks- because any stars those LATE picks could ever become will most likely want to leave for N.Y. or L.A. eventually anyway.
AND THE NBA WANTS TO ADD MORE TEAMS? the talent gap will only get wider.
if anything they should get rid of 4 teams to make talent levels more equal.
