We might have to skip forward two years.

LMA/Claxton/Blake front court rotation is solid.

Yeah they look unstoppable tbh. It's big because now they have 4 guys to throw at Embiid and absorb fouls.

LMA has always matched up well with Embiid,Davis,Jokic. His big body gives them problems and wears them down. Those are all guys the Nets could potentially face in the playoffs. This is a big signing for the Nets.

Yeah LMA is the biggest addition they've had to the Irving, Harden, Harris, KD core. Probably 5th most important player now.

He's better then Drummond too for the playoffs. Only injuries can derail Nets now imo.

Geez this team is so stacked. If Lebron and Lakers manage to beat this Nets team to win championship, that would be one heck of an achievement

i'd start Claxton and have LMA off the bench with Brown/Harris.

This team is so stacked I'd even root for the Lakers to beat them.

Hopefully after Lebron and Durant retire stars will actually try to compete against each other.

It's the matchups. Nets are approaching 2016/17 Warriors caliber where they had no real matchup weaknesses because of all the vets and utility players they had signed up

In a hypothetical series with the 6ers this is a steady stream of bigs to throw at Embiid. Winning that series will now be a matter of having Embiid being able to abuse all 4 bigs

Just to reiterate why signings like these are a big deal. Matchup options are huge to winning chips.

I have watched a lot of spurs games this year. He still has it on the offensive end. Offensively he's a lot better than DJ. He's terrible on the defensive end but I think he will look better now that he's playing with the Nets.
Yeah but that's the problem, we needed more big man defense, not offense really. I get that he brings something different to the roster (an actual center size big who is a legit pick & pop option) but his bad defense won't make things much better.

i think he will be very motivated to play defense or he wont see the floor much
I'm sure he'll be motivated but he doesn't have it in him to actually play high level defense (aside from a few moments). He was never a great defender to begin with.

Harden is the MVP of nothing... They could ship his ass back to Houston, and that team still might win it all...

The 76ers are hoping they throw LMA at Ebiid.

Did you get the point? It's about having 4 guys to try

Edit everyone else also has frontcourt weaknesses of some sort whether owing to immobility or depth. Nets are now casually spotting 3 perimeter stars and no glaring front court weaknesses

cool. another guy who can hit an open midrange jumper and isn't able to guard an opposing team's best big man or rebound. some of you get your info from 2k. this isnt a big deal and it doesn't really make them better.
