Another deadline goes by and it just leaves me wondering again when the NBA is going to fix any ... just any of their **** problems. Player movement in this league is so broken.

That just isn't the case anymore. The buyout market 100% addresses super teams weaknesses.

I mean good for the nets and the Lakers but it's just It's starting to make the NBA so much less competitive and so much less watchable.

Come on man, no one is touching this team in the East or West at this point. It is what it is.

Personally I think the Sixers is going to be a problem.

Nba needs to figure out a solution, maybe a hard cap like the NFL

This league has a real issue with parity

How tf do fans of Minny, Orlando, Detroit, etc watch this ****?

KD does it again, gets to play with another MVP winner in his prime (3 now), and multiple other stars and elite shooters

Really this just seems like a David West signing for the superteam Warriors. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Nba just can't get rid of superteams. It has to do with players mentality and media plays a big part on that. People **** on players like giannis when they stay in milwakee and can't make it to the finals.

If they moved forward on the Lowry trade, I would have agreed with you. But I don't think this Sixers team is enough to beat that stacked Nets team. I hope so though.

It's the matchups. Nets are approaching 2016/17 Warriors caliber where they had no real matchup weaknesses because of all the vets and utility players they had signed up

In a hypothetical series with the 6ers this is a steady stream of bigs to throw at Embiid. Winning that series will now be a matter of having Embiid being able to abuse all 4 bigs

Just to reiterate why signings like these are a big deal. Matchup options are huge to winning chips.
Having a bunch of terrible defensive bigs to throw at Embiid really doesn't do anything at all. Embiid has dominated LMA the last few matchups and obviously LMA provides nothing defensively.

You think the NBA gives af about Minny, Orlando, or Detroit?

The NBA truly only cares about major cities, as they draw the most fans internationally.

Philly and Boston....sike- LMA is near unguardable one on one...especially when KD, Harden and Kyrie are waiting to shoot. Shade if you want. LMA is a mid range monster whose game isn’t predicated on athletic ability...gets to his spot...gets big...great footwork.

Brooklyn should just get Lebron to do a buy out now...and get this ring

Why even have those teams then?

The reason the NFL makes a ton more than the NBA does and likely ever will is b/c there is parity and fans actually may feel like they have a chance now or in the future

The playoff format helps ofc, but having a hard cap creates a lot of parity

How is it that the NBA, with a much bigger worldwide fanbase, makes 1/3 of the NFL

I think Basketball is even a better sport to watch, but the NFL is a better league in terms of competition

If I was another contender, I wouldn't be mad about this. This could lead to fewer minutes for Claxton and gives them an easy target on every trip down the floor.

This signing is not a big deal. This is a player who is so washed that the Spurs didn't even want to use him as a backup to Jakob Poeltl.

I'm rooting for them to succeed. To me they are great villain team and plus my team is not a contender so them running roughshod over the whole entire league doesn't bother me. I'm enjoying seeing the Nets set fire to the rest of the league.

That's the obvious choice, and it may be them, but as long time Laker fans, it always seemed to be the team you least expected...

Thinking like the Hawks... I would have said the Hornets if Ball was healthy but now... Celtics?
