Every mock has Johnson in the second round because of heart issues. He is a surefire lotto pick if healthy.

We have to root for Sacramento, New Orleans, Toronto, and that group to pass them. Chicago does have a brutal schedule.

Worst I’d want the Bulls doing is 8th worst, which gives them a 23.5% at a top 4 pick.

If they end up being the 7th worst their odds at a top 4 pick jump to 31.9%.

Relevant since the Chicago pick is top 4 protected.

This. I want that pick to convey. I've heard nothing about compensation should it not. Anywhere in the 10-to-15 range is fine with me.

Josh Giddey looks interesting. He won't be 19 until October. He's a 6'8" PG putting up comparable stats that Ball did, in the same league.

We get it the following year without protections, but that would push back our next pick a year.

That Horford contract seems to be the inverse of the Vuc contract signed that same offseason and for the same money.

Man.. if you just watch this tourney you would think Moody was just some bench player at best or scrub at worst.

Not me cuz that means we didnt get Cade 8-) 8-) 8-) and another is that Im tired of our record of always picking wings in the 2nd round. Bring back the glory days of the Magic where we use it for BIGS and get diamond in the rough like Gortat, KOQ, etc or spitfire scoring PGs

Because Johnson could be a MPJ type steal in the second round. Remember that draft I posted about 30 times that we needed to trade anything for that pick or to move up and get him. Johnson will be the same way. If they can get his health right, he will be a baller.

Moses Brown should be picked up off the waiver wire if he's available, he can easily stuff the stat sheet if given the full time minutes.

Ok Den pick is top 5 for 3 years until sent
2025 1st-rd pick (DEN own) is top-5 protected and conveys to 2026 and 2027 with the same protection

Still looking for Chicago verification

Hmmm.. no offense but with the history of AG,JI,Bamba,Okeke and now Cole ( all rookies making our medical staff earn their paychecks ) I kinda want a player that has no history of medical condition. Besides , I kinda want a pure shooter as you can get in the 2nd round.

The Chicago picks are top 4 protected. If it's in the top 4, we recieve it the following year with no protections.

Yeah if that happens AND those are Orlando’s picks I’ll have zero complaints whatsoever.

Return to Orlando Magic
