The problem I have with all of this is that when these super teams are created they sacrifice having a bench.

Well not anymore thanks to the buyout market. Maybe Griffin and LMA aren't what they used to be but now signing them 100% fixes what supposably is the weakness of super teams.

The NBA is completely broken right now.

Are you saying that Griffin and LMA are better players than Edwards and Semi?

No way.

I totally agree on this. It’s just rich getting richer

I'll take Kelly "Ham and Egger" Olynyk over those two at this stage.

Thompson signing becomes dumber and dumber.

We could've kept Kanter. We could've kept Theis. We could've just signed a buyout guy. Or even Dedmon would do for our purposes.

I still think the potential guy who would have the biggest impact for the Celtics as a buyout pickup would be KO.

I'd love to see Kelly back myself rather than Aldridge but I'd be surprised if Miami or LA don't grab him and we end up with Drummond. Maybe I'm just having a bad day.

Honestly he seems more money orientated than actually winning. He might get bought out next years deadline but he wants to maximise those earnings the most.

Drummond is just a better Kanter. Robert Williams can only play 25 MPG anyways due to his hip condition. Nobody seems to mention that.

I'm all for Drummond cutting into the TT minutes because he can actually rebound and score like Kanter did and isn't nearly as bad on the defensive end as Kanter was.

Kemba, TT and a first for Horford makes sense this offseason.

Who runs PG for us?

I wish he wasn’t so old and paid too much but Rubio would be ideal.

Lol I'm assuming you're joking but the reason to get off Kemba's contract is to clear the books, not to take on another max salary.

We’d free 20M by doing this.

That 20 mil can be used to line Fournier's pockets too

Still not sold Fournier is worth keeping at the price he wants. Classic contract year uptick.

SwC confirmed to be Smart's burner account.

Trying to make Smart the starting PG to secure the big bag of money.

True. It's completely meaningless and the freaking salary we signed him at, I have no idea who we were competing against? Ourselves?
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.
