Deep squad. Imagine if Dinwiddie wasn't injured. Is there a scrub in this depth chart? I don't think so.

there are two Chiozza and Alize Johnson, dont even know they exist

As dirty as this feels, if the Lakers make it out of the west I'd even cheer for them and Lebron to take down this abomination.

I also blame Adam Silver for being a spineless coward and letting players run the league.

exactly this is what "power to the players" looks like....signing a contract doesn't mean anything anymore

I was thinking about Johnson being a scrub. He is only on 10 day contract. Chiozza might be scrub too. The rest of the roster - no.

Basically a non story, Aldridge and especially Griffin are not guys worthy of rotational minutes at the highest levels, they both (and DeAndre) suck hard on defense, if Nash has the balls most of the key rotation for bigs will be Green, Claxton, KD and some Jordan minutes

Welp every other team has no one to blame but themselves. A couple of teams (Dallas, Miami, Boston, Toronto, Denver) all had expiring contracts or trade exemptions to make a move for Aldridge. Teams got too cute and thought they could get him when he gets bought out and he ends up signing with the Nets. Same goes for Drummond.

Congratulations, you played yourself

Boring, but I'm cool with it. Means the clippers have zero shot at winning a title.

Griffin and Aldridge can make 3s

Claxton and Jordan not

They can play with matchups, this is a ring to lose for them.

This basically means 1 of 2 things for the playoffs. 1 - This will make a Nets victory even more pointless. 2 - This will make a Nets defeat even more Epic.
They win it all - big deal. Of course they did. Who wouldn't with that many all-stars on one team
They lose it all - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA biggest, most epic failure in the history of sports, if that many all-start on one team can't win a title.
Pointless victory or epic defeat. Really no other option at this point.

I love this move for the Nets. Then maybe Lebron can convince Kawhi to join forces and beat the evil empire :D

I have no problem, it will be a freaking fun team to watch this year.

But man, if the Nets doesnt win with all those guys it will be the ugliest meltdown ever of the NBA

Next season Kawhi opting out for the Lakers and Lowry signing for the minimun

It will be:

Harden
Irving
KD
LMA
Griffin

against:

Lowry
Kawhi
Lebron
AD
Drummond

It will be ASG with defense

Can't believe my sorry New Jersey Nets are now the best team in the league.

You guys can cry about how "unfair" this is all you want. There have been so many superteams.

But us Nets fans have never seen our team win a title ever. And most fans in NYC have not either. We deserve this way more than the Lakers getting to see an 18th Championship.

Also goes to show the value of professionalism and quality of character of players and their reps.

Big contrast to weirdo disappearing acts while reps manipulate FO.

And look at how we assume LMA will sign with the Nets because he verbally committed to do it.

Turns out being decent and up front makes a difference. No drama, no need for it. LMA asked; we accommodated.

Seriously?

You'd rather see the Lakers win AGAIN than a team who has never won before?

I'm pretty sure Jeff Green is above Blake Griffin on the depth chart, or at least he should be.
