If I was a coach I would give JC a Bernard tape and show him how much he can dominate with that move. I know its not as exciting as the 3 ball but I'm really impressed with JC on the blocks.

I think people forget what JC's game was like in college, he was a postup/back to the basket guy.
I remember LP saying something like: we know what he can do and what he's good at on offense in the post, so the challenge was expanding the rest of his offensive game instead of just what he did well already. It's paying off now.

It's nice to finally have one again. Where do you rank this trio compared to others in recent Hawks history?

Ahead of JJ, Horford and Smoove?

Behind Mutombo, Smith and Mookie?

Yes. Definitely ahead of JJ/Horford/Smoove but still behind Mutombo/Smith/Mookie, but gaining on them real fast. Having said that, these guy are younger (Trae, Collins) and have room to grow. I think I actually prefer the Teague/Horford/Sap (Kyle, DMC) big 3+ (2) to the Jj/Hor/Smoove big 3 as well.

Capela has been a revelation for us. I watched a ton of Rockets game and he has improved by leaps and bounds. Also Collins shooting a 3 makes me feel 10x more comfortable than Smoove flinging it to the dismay of the crowd.

I did not know that. It is great that he can play both inside and out. I would just milk him in the post until a team shows they can stop him.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

I think Collins benefits when Bogi is on the floor as he looks to get Collins the ball in the post and feed other players. Bogi can be very unselfish but can start to press when he doesn’t get obvious passes back.

Bogi standing alone on the weakside and no one passing the ball wasn’t a good sign. Trae needs to be more unselfish.

John has a great game, but keep in mind this career high is a little bit due to GSW having horrible interior defense

Great game by JC. let's see if he can do it consistently. Dray Green should just retire after the game he played.

If JC can play that way consistantly and against better competition, Hawks will be tough to beat
