True but I do wonder what a ring this year would mean to Aldridge personally. Jumping onto this Nets roster and winning a ring has to feel a bit hollow, at least to me it would.

He went to the Spurs to chase a ring and it didn't work out.

Wow, sounds like they couldn't agree on a buyout price, so bam, balls in your court Al. I have no idea if he has anything left in the tank but would be nice if he did to add.

What an abomination that contract is.

Have to figure there's going to be something about buyouts in the next CBA. Even though Blake and LMA are no longer the players they once were, pretty ridiculous that the Nets are able to get them for a song to basically circumvent the amount of money they're paying their 3 stars.

Aldridge and Griffin won’t win the Nets any playoff games, so Im not worked up here.

But it creates a competitive imbalance, at least in theory, when superstars are drawn to certain cities (be it the big lights of NYC, the hot women of Miami, the no taxes of Texas, etc) and then ring chasers follow the superstars.

Good thing the nba is making sure Milwaukee doesn’t agree to a trade for a third tier scorer two days before the tampering window is open. I mean, you would just hate for a team to have an advantage like that.

His size and strength really creeps up on some players. When we played them the other week Middleton was left perplexed more than once.

When we were playing them I mentioned that he reminds me of Kawhi. I can see it.

LMA/DAJ
Griffin/Green
KD/Roberson
Irving
Harden/Johnson

Imagine this roster in 2016

Nets aren't winning a goddamn thing if durant is hurt . Kyrie is not a winner and that cast is solid but isn't good enough to win a title unless durant is healthy.

The Bulls win now, drive for the sixth seed got off to a great start. Spurs waxed them.

Yeah, it's the one deal Presti lost on this offseason. He sure hit a home run on the Paul trade though.

Big Rui fan but I mean I don't really see where that swap makes sense for us from a team or value perspective.
