Kind of a weird trade between the Kings and Pistons.

All kind of weird. :) What was that for? 2 bottom feeders exchanging trash? Never really seen anything like it to be honest, or at least I can't recall, maybe it was so insignificant as this is.

Great strategy for the Kings - if they take on salary for next season, they won't have the cap space to sign any free agents to ridiculous deals.

Many 2021 FAs are upset by this. Oubre's agent is probably pissed. :D

One aspect of this that could bite them is they don't have full bird rights on Holmes, just early bird with about a $10mil per year cap on what they can pay him as an over the cap team. With the way he's played this year and bad FA class there's a chance he gets more. I thought they might deal Barnes and give themselves room under the cap to sign holmes.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Yeah, when I looked I figured one deal ends before the other and it was more a cap space clearing move. And Delon Wright is more of a combo guard at this point...and a lot younger...Joseph more of a vet to maybe mentor Hayes..possibly expire sooner..too lazy to check.

He's definitely worth more than $10. Really should deal Bagley if possible, but not sure for what or how it would clear space, unless they can get a good pick from a bad team that can absorb him.

Barnes was rumored but reports say they don't want to trade him.

How do you figure the east finishes? I was thinking the Bulls killed it getting Vucevic because they were competitive, but it looks like there are 11 teams that could fight for the 8 spots. 1 will miss the play in. Who misses?

I think Charlotte probably falls out due to Ball going down and NY falls out.

It's also kind of hard not to see Toronto or Indy making top 8. In that case, it looks like the Bulls would still be out, unless someone else drops out, though I can't see who. I don't think Atlanta misses.

Man, look at the %s from both teams from the field, from 3, and from the line....and the total # of 3s...some crazy #s but interesting it was such a lopsided victory. https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=401307471

Dallas are closer to the Lakers than I thought, every chance to catch them.

Might put pressure on Davis/LeBron to come back sooner to avoid the play-in.

LMA to Nets, Drummond to Lakers.
1. Barf - especially Nets, especially Griffin.
2. It sure would be / would have been nice to add some beef at the deadline to our frountcourt.

You'd like to think that if the NBA had a conscience, they would block the signings of these useful old players to already stacked teams so as to even out the competition, but money reigns supreme.

This buyout stuff is ridiculous . They shouldn't be allowed to play again this season.

Lebron is the biggest cupcake I know. Always gets people to take pay cuts, signs stars, and vets with buyout, etc. Dude will never be considered the GOAT in my eyes.

Blazers continue to win even when Lillard shoots 33% fg and Powell with just 13 points. Blazers are another team with a very good road record. Praying the Nuggets lose to Hawks and Lakers to Magic. Also, Jazz play the Grizzlies three times within a week but already beaten them twice.

Man, Westbrook with a 35 pt, 21 assist, 14 reb game leading the Wiz over the Pacers despite big games from Sabonis and Brogdon.

Return to Phoenix Suns
