He's definitely become one of my favorite prospects.

Should be drafted 5-10 range. It's important to realize he's only a month older than Cade and two months younger than both Mobley and Suggs. I could see some team really falling in love with him and taking him 3-4.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Even on these highlights, look how much space he is conceding. He has age, size, pedigree, but I don't see what is so special now about his tape that makes him a top 10 prospect. If he makes some adjustments, I think he will be a good role player in the league. If he perfects his shot, he could become a specialist down the road.

I admit that I was way too down on his game early on (because of his age there is a lot of time for growth and his IQ is very good), but I still think top 10 is a bit too much. Top 20 seems reasonable to me.

If OKC is outside the top 5 definitely a guy I'm interested in as of now I think(w/ Moody, Bouknight, Kispert at least depending on how things play out).

At the beginning of the season, I really liked him for the Jazz. Guess that's not happening.

I always think of Franz as the player that made me okay putting Pokusevski top of my draft board... they had an international game against each other that Poku absolutely dominated (franz was sort of a role player for Germany), and I recall thinking "well this Franz kid is going to Michigan, so clearly Poku can hang with top NCAA talents" lol.

Don’t get the hype on him, wouldn’t take him in the lottery.

Just getting abused by Juzang tonight against UCLA.

Super young and a lot of young guys have struggled. That was brutal though.

My sales pitch for Franz is pretty much the same as what it was for Devin Vassell last year: people get way too caught up in class year (either by saying a non-freshman has limited upside because otherwise they would've been one-and-one or going too far the other way and assuming any productive college junior/senior is going to be able to contribute in the NBA right off the bat) when that's just a proxy for age. Wagner has been the best all-around player for a team that was a 1 seed on the verge of making the final four while being the age of most freshmen.

Even if you wanted to go Skip Bayless and say this was his worst game of the season and he choked on the biggest stage or whatever (he didn't shoot well but was still probably his team's, again a #1 seed that made the Elite 8, best all-around player) that's not something that should be knocking him too far past the top 5.

His IQ is great but dude is super slow with no wiggle and doesn't appear to be a knockdown shooter.. his archetype doesn't appear to be one that lasts in the league..

he's a legit 6-9 who has all the indicators of being a knock down shooter in the NBA, who's a + passer for his position and also won't be a net negative defensively, that's a lotto pick in any draft.

lmao...so typical of some on this board. Tournament influenced. You have been posting on this board the entire draft season but now you don't get Wagner. :noway:

Not arguing that he's not a lotto pick, but he's far from being a knock down shooter. 35.7% from 3pt and 83.1% make him average. He was also only at 31.1% 3pt from his freshman year, but posted 83.3% from the line.

2-16 during the tournament isn't so great.. especially when it looks like he lost confidence in his shot today.

He's like a small forward version of Wendell Carter
