Re: Trade Deadline Reactions and Buyout Market Thread
Jeff Teague is a free agent after being waived by Orlando. He had a weird Celtics career. Was awesome in the preseason but then awful for most of the reg season... until a couple weeks ago when he really came alive and was balling out. In his last game as a Celtic he outscored Giannis haha. Will be a good pickup for some team who needs a backup pg.

Re: Trade Deadline Reactions and Buyout Market Thread
Man... Laker haters and bandwagon Laker fans have some really terrible takes.
Lowry wanted 2 year extension at 50 million. That would have crippled Laker flexibility for the future. I'm sure Lowry is great but at 35 years old, is he better than Shroder at this point? Probably? But to mortgage the future for a team that was leading the league with a healthy AD and LB that just won the championship last year is a bit to chew on.
Lowry didn't get traded at all. Raptors probably wanted to gauge his price and didn't like what they were getting. No Heat, No Sixers, or Lakers were willing to give up a lot for him. Sixers were supposedly extremely close. It happens.
The more concerning thing is.... Kuzma wasn't in trade talks at all. His value that bad now?
Lowry vs Kyrie even if not the Lakers is a loss. Kyrie cooks him.

I can also see Teague going to the Nets.
I'm sure they don't want to go into the playoffs with Tyler Johnson and Chris Chiozza as their only back up point guards.

Re: Buyout Market Thread
So any more news on Buyouts? Who else is getting bought out? I believe the deadline to sign for the playoffs this season in April 9th...
