Last year Atlanta had the 4th best chance and got the 6th pick.

Almost every game, but the Buck vs Clippers game has implications on us. We want teams to stay ahead or pass Chicago and the teams behind us to win.

Steph Curry has been upgraded to questionable for the Bulls game tonight.

I might have missed it but what happens to our Chicago pick if they make the play-in or whatever?

Then we get a non-lottery pick in the late teens if they win the game and earn a playoff spot. If they lose the game and miss the playoffs it’s a late lottery pick.

The only issue occurs if they miss the playoffs and win the lottery (top 4) as the pick has top 4 protections on it.

Looks like if they win the 2 games, they'll be the 8th seed.

I think even if they're the 10th seed in the east, they could be like the 9th worst team, for example. Many of the west teams would be ahead of them.

How amazing would it be if we land in the top 3 and Chicago ends up as the 5th worst team while staying right where they are after the lotto?

We draft 2 of the great players. I would prefer Mobley + one of Cade/Suggs/Green.

We need some damn luck!!

considering our lucky in the lotto, ill just be happy to have a pick in the top 4

god i pray this is the year we get top 2.
To me the top of this draft has 4 elite players (im not as high on Kuminga) and i dont want our choice to be made for us. If we cant get Cade, i want us to actually have the choice of Green, mobley, suggs,in that order

IF we were to get this 1st pick, I think Cade is the choice.
BUT, if we get 2-4, how much does RJ's development shape the choice?

I think it comes down to Green vs. Mobley.

First BPA all the way.
Second if its 2 for me, |I value ball handling a lot then you add court vision and play-making so that is an easy Suggs.
Third Green for me is RJ MAX on steroids so Ill bench RJ for Green

Better mark that date in my calendar then. But yeah tbh I plan on sleeping through it and waking up to the glory. Every time I stayed up for the lottery in the early days of the rebuild we got shafted, so time to try something else and not be a grumpy, tired mess the next day.

If we drop out of the top 5 then Moses Moody is someone i'm locking in on.....he has a strap i believe 40% from 3 and i think 50% from the corners....

Does Keon Johnson look as good as Green? He's one month younger and pretty explosive.

His length is ridiculous, you can see how his 7 ft wingspan helps him get off more difficult shots & crash the boards.

If we can get Cade, Green, or Suggs with our pick and get Moody with our Chicago pick I’ll be so happy

I'd probably take Moody and Johnson right now, and call it a draft.

I watched the highlights of him here. Green is a very different kind of explosive IMO. Green is in a league of his own for this class in terms of raw athleticism. As we all know, that alone does not make a good basketball player. Green needs work but we saw growth in the G-league. Hence he is a top 3-5 pick.

I need to see more of Johnson but what little I have seen does not have me thinking he should be compared to Green. He would be a disappointing consolation prize. I would go for Moody before him.

I would probably draft Moody with the 6th pick, if that's where we end up, and then try to get Johnson with the Bulls pick. Johnson will likely be in the top 10 and out of our range tho.

You think the Bulls pick is “likely” to fall past the top 10?

I would disagree. It absolutely could but given where it is now and how tough their remaining schedule is I would not label anything as “likely” just yet.

I prefer Bouknight over Keon.

( BTW there are 2 johnsons in the lotto so clarify Keon otherwise some might think of Jalen Johnsons lol )

Bouknight is willing to bang and get dirty down low and drives more. 3pt range %, im not sure butr are they equal?

difference is his strap....it's suspect, doesn't shoot as well as you'd want from the free throw and he doesn't shoot well from college 3...basically he's one of those guys that you'd have to teach to shoot but his shot isn't broken then potential is there and he is a great athlete....imo he definitely is a top 10 pick
