Re: Tank World Order (2.0)
Its amazing how many people think a 19 year old kid and a FA centre would be enough to bring this team back to relevancy.
You look at this core group and its legit bottom tier. OG is the only guy id be comfortable moving forward with. There is absolutely 0 young talent outside of I guess Trent now who is clearly a role player.

How the hell did they destroy Milwaukee lol. Costly wins
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars
Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid
There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I've said this before, I don't think Milwalkee is that good.
Also this team was simply better around that time.

Terence Davis looking really nice on the Kings. Can't understand dumping a young sophomore for nothing when you're tanking. What an odd ball move

With Beal out! BEASTBROOK is back!!!
Curry is back healthy. Just have to find a way to lose by 1 to OKC.
Bottom 3 will be Minnesota, Houston and Orlando. #4 Detroit.
I could see Washington go on a run for the #10 seed play in spot.
5-7 are Cavs, Raptors and Thunder. The next game on Wednesday vs OKC is a must lose!!!!

Maybe Masai was a pro-tank all along.
-Traded your best offensive player
-Kept an unhappy Kyle Lowry.

He’s got talent and just needs to play through mistakes. Unfortunately we are a lotto team trying not to feed young players minutes. It’s an odd situation, and not a good one for a player like TD.

I think it had more to do with the off the court issues and the need to open a roster spot in case we were doing a Lowry trade. It may end up being a mistake by the FO, but I think getting the whole off court thing off of the team will be better considering the league still hasn’t given their verdict and may suspend him

I'm nearly certain the case was dropped.

I knew his time was up after those off-court issues. They did their own investigation and if he was traded that means they didn't wanna bother with it

The legal case was dropped but not by the NBA yet. The NBA is still looking into it

TD is nothing special. He is 24 and a low iq player. The 2nd rounder is a better asset.

Re: Tank World Order (2.0)
The Raps had really turned the corner before COVID hit the team and pretty much wiped out the season.
Its time to embrace the tank....this is coming from a guy thats generally anti-tank. Theres no reason to continue trying to win now that team chemistry shot, their best scorer has been traded and their best player is sitting around wondering why he's still on the team.
Tank and regroup for next season.
My only concern is that their are bad habits and bad chemistry forming...losing basketball is often infectious....it might be a long climb up out of the hole regardless of who they land in the draft.

2.5 games from a playoff spot. The Raps are much closer to making the 8th seed than a top 5 draft pick.

I like TD and believe he’ll be a great player some day but he needs playing time to develop. Something Nurse isn’t providing him.
Also since he was undrafted his extension is sooner than more young players too.

Really, the Raptors are like the Warriors of last season.

Not worried about the Bulls. Really scared of the Thunder, they’re not getting Shai anytime soon so they’ll start getting some losses.
