Give up? I dunno how saying the reality of it that he's been awesome defensively, but isn't very skilled or a great finisher offensively is giving up.

We were up 17 in this one, its gotta be a blowout win. These last two games have been wins but it's far from good enough.MrDollarBills wrote:DarkXaero wrote:Not an excuse for the mistakes. The guy is carrying this team on his back. We won. Not a big deal to me.

I think theres a chance he won't be reliable in the playoffs.

Harden isn't getting a decent rest until KD comes back.

I think he's fine. We've been using him in the PNR less since he started playing with Green and now Blake. He's forcing it a little bit but he can make those shots.

Not bad for a guy that just came back from injury. He still has another month to get better.

I dunno. He's not finishing well at the rim, is statistically a subpar rebounder. His defensive potential is really high and that's worth being really excited about, but the rest of his game is just not showing that much promise. I'd call this a realistic appraisal of his abilities and not being overly negative. I'm not sure what else to call a center that has no range and can only score off lobs and isn't even that great at it.

He seems to finish pretty well to me, he's shooting 74% at the rim not including tonight's game. That's very good.

Okay, so I wasn't taking crazy pills wondering where all this hyperbole over Claxton was coming from.
Typical Nets forum, someone has a bad game and it equates to the sky is falling. The team is much better with him on the court and yet we have people here saying he can't help us in the playoffs because he had a quiet night vs the Wolves.
