Can't wait to receive two top ten picks this year and the fifth overall in 2023. The Bulls team is bad. Definitely jumped the shark on making a win now move.

Hes always hurt and has no offense outside of an open 3 (even that hes not a great shooter) or fast break dunks.
Sure hes a great defender, but thats only half the game
In a re-draft def see Bam, Mitchell, collins and Lauri all jumping above him and really just see him as a taller OG Anunoby

Lauri  That guy was probably avaiable for a bag of chips this tradeline

Really?
Well this was busiest trade deadline ever, so if that was true, he easily could of been moved

Watch the Chi : GSW game & you see why you gonna have a hard time being good with him playing 20+ mpg.

Yeah.. they were attacking him all game long. I dunno if he is allergic to defense or what.

If we don't get that pick, I think the trade is a failure. Losing a 1st and a Bulls team with a top 4 pick means the pick we end up with will be pretty trash.

We are not losing pick when it not conveys this year, it goes 2022 top 4 protected.

And if it goes to 2022 top 4 they can't give us their 2023 and I haven't see anywhere reported that if 2023 can't be conveyed that it rolls over to 2024, so not sure if its 2nds or what. Strange that it isn't reported anywhere.

Dont worry about it. No need for too much mental gymannastics. This season they probably be one of the play-in teams. Or even if they are in the lotto, they probably be in the 10th spot.

The pick will convey

As I said, get ready for two top ten picks. There is no way the Bulls are going to the play-in with lackidasical defense and offensive shootouts.

Haven’t been this excited about a draft since we had the WoNK pick in 2014.

I just hope we don't get to many unexpected wins and end up with the 6th worst record. Then we'll probably pick 8th and 14th.

Mo and WCJ is our new Evan and Dipo dilemma. I'd love to keep both for the next 4 years, but not sure how feasible that would be.

Evan and Oladipo were actually both good.

Not case with this two.

For start, both are injury prone, and when they do play, they both look like backups more than actual starters, let alone above average players or stars.

WoNK!!!! Man, that was so fun to monitor throughout the year. if Prozingis stayed in that draft; if we took Zach instead of Elf; if we didn't let Hinkie swindle our rookie GM....sigh.

Big guys usually take longer to develop. I have no doubt both will be really good players.

Just tried the Tankathon draft simulator and here's what the draft shaped out to be:

Image

This would be a real nightmare scenario for us. Our odds are good for a good pick and the Bulls pick to convey, but I'm actually starting to worry there is a real chance we are screwed by the modern lottery process once again.

The very next try on the draft simulator was equally terrible for us. Chicago jumped to 4th place and we lose the pick, Orlando also jumped one place ahead to 3rd but drafted Evan Mobley with it.

I'd be really really pissed off if something like that happens in reality. I guess nothing is set in stone and the higher the CHI pick gets in the lottery the better for us, but by missing on the playoff 9-10 play-in games and losing more games benefits us but also makes it a lot riskier for that pick to jump ahead. It would be fun lottery to follow and the draft day would be an absolute thriller if we have 2 top 10 picks.

So I know it is one game but I was pleasantly surprised at WCJ ability to defend Harrell who can be a handful. Everyone said he was too slow to play the 4 but he battled and stayed in front of him. One game so we will see but I really want to see Bamba and WCJ together
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

In addition to this Bamba was really raw. You shouldn’t make the Bamba pick if you don’t have the intestinal fortitude to stick it out because fans and loudmouth media will be calling him a bust. Glad our front office didn’t just dump him to NY. The guy has potential. The pump fake drives he has been executing lately and I loved that block he had and has the skills to bring it up the court he missed the layup but that was awesome.

This would be absolutely terrible for us. Not getting the Chicago pick, but us falling to 7

Great possibility this could happen but there is nothing we can do about it. We give ourselves the best chances at a top 4 pick, hope bulls end with a top 10 chance and hope we are for once lucky in the lottery, land at least a top 4 pick and bulls stay out of it and picking at least hopefully anywhere from 8-12.

But it is out of our control, hope for the best, that is all we can do, not going to stress about it until I know the results and then we can stress about the next steps depending what happens in the lottery.

This is the nightmare situation:

Call me an optimist but I like our players even if the worst happens and we pick 7 or 8 I like our team of young guys with potential.
