Surprise, surprise.....Embiid misses yet ANOTHER game against Joker...coincidence ???? I think not

Looking forward to see chemistry build for our Core Four, it'd be nice to see another blowout win

Without Embiid Sixers are still an over-50% team this season (8-7) but for Nuggets it is a "must-win" game.

Instead of a canceled duel of the world's two best centers, the matchup to watch today will be A.Gordon vs T.Harris.

I'm not sure any of their bigs can stop any of ours (at least among the starters). On the other end of the court; Scott & Green can shoot, but Harris is their only major threat on the frontline.

So what I'm going to be watching for is:
1. Gordon's movement on offense (and everyone else's)
2. Our guards on defense - especially Barton's defense. Murray should come out ready. I'm concerned about Campazzo's matchup on our defensive end. So Dozier may need to play significant minutes and he might be the best guard we have to try to slow down Simmons - it would be a good test for sure.
3. Malone's rotation - this looks like it could be a good game for Nnaji to play some (and not just based on the score). I think he matches up well against their bigs.

Looks like Murray and MPJ are pointing out who the real scorers are tonight, a race to see who scores 50 pts first??

We look great. 44pts in 1Q against one of the best defending teams. Hope to see Javale and Nnaji in the second half.

Dozier is in a shooting slump, we're gonna need to get this straightened out before the playoffs

I love Facu's energy, but he's such a huge liability on offense. 0-5 from 3, -14 in 25 minutes with 4 turnovers.

If the other teams were smart they would just play off of him. But, unfortunately, as long as Monte's injured he's going to be Jamal's backup.

That 44-22 first quarter is just too good, so the Nuggets doesn't need anything special in the rest of the game to win this.

Gordon was defensively great once again against very good opponent's PF scorer. He realized very fast where this Denver team needs his help the most, unlike Barton after all this years. Malone should stop restricting Gordon playing time playing him only how much we need him to win the game. We need Gordon happy to re-sign him in 2022, why risking Grant scenario?

With Gordon around MPJ can be focused more on the offense, and he doing it very well in both games so far.

I just watched DNVR's Branden Vogt give notes from the post-game press conference and there were a few good notes. I highly recommend watching, not a paid advertisement, but here is a link:

"There was just a real block party vibe"

Malone said he Gordon was somewhat still dealing with an ankle injury, but that Gordon is still recovering from an ankle injury from Orlando. Philly went small and so Malone went small but he ultimately said I probably should have gotten Aaron back in there. If he is still dealing with that, I understand avoiding playing him too much.

"It feels like I am looking at my twin out there" - MPJ on Aaron Gordon.

"I've just been really consistent with my routine. Getting locked in, and then every game I am just trying to give it all that day. I've just focused on the present. I've got great teammates, they will find me."

Joker seems to be happy understanding where things are. He has so many weapons that he doesn't have to put up crazy stats.

Jamal was so excited about fans being back and apparently was great in the post-game interview he gave, thanking first responders and healthcare workers. I think the Blue Arrow celebration was just a little taste of it. I personally saw Jamal two years ago against the Spurs and Blazers and see how much he feeds off the crowds. If people think that he is only an empty gym performer, they are so sadly mistaken. Jamal feeds of the crowd as much as he does pressure. He is a different breed.

A win is a win, but this one was disappointing to me. They Nuggets had one great quarter and then played worse each quarter. Meanwhile Philadelphia played consistently throughout the game.

Malone has settled on 9 players, probably 10 when Morris is back. But our bench is rather anemic. Sure seems crazy to leave talent sitting on the bench.

We all know the team would be way more balanced with Morris or even Dozier in the starting lineup to move Barton to the bench and give him the keys of the second unit, but Malone´s romance with Barton and his "I am starter" attitude don´t make me feel optimist in that regard.

In the end changes will happen only after a couple of losses versus non contending teams. This has been the only way to modify anything during Malone´s era

Morris perhaps, but the way Dozier is shooting, he’s a bench guy until he gets that figured out. Barton to the bench though is a must IMO
